Older property. Average. Room wasn’t ready, which I know happens. First staff member was not polite about it and didn’t want us to wait in the lobby. But we needed to get ready for a wedding and had no choice. Another staff member had sympathy and gave us a bathroom key so we were able to change our clothing. We waited well over an hour and finally go in to a room. Made it to the wedding on time. Later staff was nicer. The first check in lady simply made a negative first impression.

We choose the town and then the hotel as a stop over trip for our travels to Mackinaw. The place was clean and not so outdated as most hotels. The mattress in the room was not the greatest. The desk chair was in a bad shape and the tile needs to be replaced in the bathroom.
