Clean rooms and great breakfast.

It’s a really old hotel, but they keep it exceptionally clean, the staff already friendly and the breakfast was really good. There are some cute little initiatives like if you don’t have your room cleaned every day you get $10 credit to spend in the hotel. We were basically using this as a stop for trips and excursion so $30 credit paid for all our fancy coffees in the nice barista downstairs. If you are planning to spend a lot of time around the pools, then I would say look somewhere else, but if like us you will be mainly doing trips out this is a great place to stay and the price reflects what I’ve described above.

Property has declined over the years when last stayed 10 out of 10 now 6 out of 10 restaurant 5 out of 10 high end restaurant prices for comon pub grub meals are not what is listed on menu when i complained was fobbed off wont be returning

The property is a bit far from the eateries, the room has amazing view of the ocean, but has no amenities ie shower caps, cotton tips, cotton balls etc, bathroom is tired, toilet has no exhaust fan, make it very smelly, the staff aren’t friendly or smiling, we feel like we are being treated like a second class citizen in the hotel. The pool towel wasn’t given, we had to request and they didn’t seem to be happy giving the towel. Overall, wasn’t very great experience, if not the view from the room, they would deserve 1 star.

Hotel probably 30-40 years old needs updating. Small bits of mould in bathroom (shower) didn't bother us but might be a problem for people with sensitivities. WiFi would load some web pages but unusable for streaming or access to outlook email server (web interface probably ok) -- we just used cell data. No desk. Small table usable as desk in daytime but no lighting for nighttime use. Small fridge, iron, ironing board. Nice balcony but no chairs to sit out and enjoy. No ability to turn off lights from bed -- must crawl through darkness to get back to bed after shutting off all lights. Walls could use a good cleaning. Decently priced restaurant with daily specials. Pool towels too small. Air condition system on/off only with no temp. control: cannot leave on overnight or will get too cold. Very dirty vents, filled with dirt & mould.
