Disappointing customer service experience
We stayed at Cabañas Maria del Mar, and the experience was disappointing — especially due to the terrible customer service. After spending two days at the beach, I kindly asked the front desk if we could get some fresh towels since ours had been heavily used. The receptionist told me, “That’s not my job, that’s the housekeeper’s responsibility.”
Even after I explained I understood that, and was simply asking for help as part of basic customer service, he flat out refused. No willingness to help, no effort to find a solution — just a cold “no.” I don't know his name but he was a local of the island
This shows a complete lack of empathy and customer care. Where is the hospitality?
Also, the nightly rate does not match the quality of the rooms. The pictures online are very misleading. The cabins look nothing like the ones advertised. The condition of the rooms is far below expectations and absolutely not worth the price.
I wouldn’t stay here again, and I don’t recommend it. They seriously need to improve — especially when it comes to how they treat guests.
