The GR Solaris did not disappoint. Home away from home which was immediately clear when we arrived at the resort and were greeted “Welcome home”. We had a quick and easy check in. Check in is 3pm but our room was ready upon arrival at 1pm. We grabbed a drink from the lobby bar and headed up. Within minutes our luggage arrived and we were asked if there was anything we needed. The room was very clean and the mini bar was stocked. Since this time of year is considered ’slow season’, there were several major renovations taking place but that did not stop the entertainment staff from ensuring a fun time. Two of the three pools were completed renovated and the third was almost complete. The Don Gus restaurant between the pools was also newly renovated. We enjoyed quick and friendly service throughout the resort, bars and restaurants. Some notable staff include Yzrael, Vermon, Neftali and Marco to name a few. The Spa massage is a definite must. This was not our first time at the GR Solaris and we will definitely be back but there were a few things that were very disappointing. The bathroom was clean but the shower water pressure was low. The toilet was not working properly, the sink didn’t turn off and the shower door was missing the handle. I was able to fix the toilet, a minor adjustment inside the tank but we required service for the other items. The faucet was repaired and a temporary handle was installed on the shower door but no luck with the shower water pressure.

We couldn't access the beach at all. It was covered with seaweed. The hotel needs to clean it and have it ready for guests.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are accommodating from the front desk,waiter,entertainers. The buffet is excellent 👌. It's family oriented and adult oriented as well. Wish the bar pool was open though. I give it 4/5.

I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your property, as it was unfortunately very disappointing. There was no indication prior to booking that the main pool would be under construction and unusable, which was one of the main amenities I was looking forward to. Additionally, my room was located directly next to an active construction site. Large areas of the property were blocked off with caution tape, creating an unpleasant and disruptive environment throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the hot tub was far from hot, and despite multiple attempts to speak with staff about the issue, it was never addressed. I also received a notice about the ongoing construction on the last day of my stay — had I been informed beforehand, I would have chosen to book elsewhere. I do want to note that the front desk staff were the only positive part of my experience. They were courteous, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the overall conditions and lack of transparency regarding the property’s construction. We spent a significant amount of money on this trip, and it is only fair that guests are made aware of any major construction plans or closures at the time of booking. When guests make reservations, we rely on the photos and reviews provided to make informed decisions, and the conditions I experienced did not align with those expectations.

Overall nice place to visit and relax. Staff are definitely friendly and accommodating. Great entertainment. Food options limited. Drinks and swim up were great. Seaweed galore, so no swimming on the beach but great beach water near by that are beautiful. The best part, no one beating u over the head with time shares..........The view of the beach water was awesome. The clean facility was a plus.

Our stay here was nice. The ocean view was perfect. Only thing is we did find the pool kind of dirty but nonetheless we enjoyed the stay. The staff our beyond helpful and are very very respectful. I’d stay here again for sure!
