I don't like the inside door between two rooms also need upgrades all windows lots of sounds comes from outside to inside the room and when I checked out the reception guy charge me extra for tax and i gave him cash about $42 USD but my friend paid by credit card $21 USD when i back to reception guy he panicked and he said if you py by credit card would be $21 .it's something not right.

I had the most amazing time at GR Solaris in Cancun! The resort itself is beautiful, but one of the absolute highlights of my stay was the wellness activities—especially the yoga and aqua fit classes with Yzrael. He is truly the BEST trainer ever! His energy is contagious, his instructions are clear, and he makes every class so much fun while still giving you a great workout.

HORRIBLE! Would not recommend at all. Need to leave an honest review because I booked this hotel based off all the reviews I read. The hotel is outdated, the beds are not comfortable, the food HORRIBLE, and the drinks are nowhere near good (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic). The buffet food is not good at all and did not have a good selection for kids. When I booked the Mexican restaurant on the property, we were denied entry because my 16 year old son had on Nike slides. He injured his foot and couldn’t wear sneakers and they WOULD NOT let us eat. But they allowed a grown woman to enter with old adidas slides on. This place is nowhere near 5-star to be denying entry for children with slides on in the summer. I was so disappointed and couldn’t wait to checkout and go home. I wanted to switch hotels but they were going to charge me over $500 and I had only been checked in for 20 minutes. NEVER AGAIN and DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I recently stayed at GR Solaris Cancun and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the Mexican-themed entertainment was a highlight—lively and enjoyable. I also appreciated some of the authentic Mexican food options, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The room was clean and comfortable, and the reception and concierge staff were genuinely helpful and courteous throughout my stay. However, there were several downsides that impacted my overall experience. The lobby air freshener was way too strong. I attended the so-called “obligation-free” sales breakfast and was quickly overwhelmed by aggressive and persistent sales staff pushing to sign-up for a monthly paid subscription membership, it felt deceptive and unnecessarily high-pressure. Another major letdown was the beach, which was covered in Seaweed (not the hotels fault of course). I had paid extra for an ocean-view balcony room, but the main sight was a noisy construction site next door, and the loud pool djs and entertainment which really diminished the relaxation factor. There was also not enough shade umbrellas provided by the pool. Lastly, while the resort is marketed as all-inclusive, the drink selection was quite limited. Drinks also tasted very watered down, which was disappointing. Overall, the staff and cultural touches were great, but the high-pressure sales tactics, misleading room upgrade, and limited amenities made it unlikely that I would return.
