The overall hotel experience was positive. Staff are responsive and helpful. Clean and well maintained. The food, however, was disappointing in a few ways. Very disappointing that with a 7 night stay we were only allowed to make restaurant reservations for 3 nights and the other nights either eat at the buffet or get on a wait list in the hopes of getting into a restaurant. When we complained we were told to eat at the buffet-fine for families but not for adults who wanted a nicer experience. The restaurants were only open on alternate nights. The buffet was plentiful but same every day. Evening entertainment was decent but not very creative compared to other resorts. Daytime activities by the pool were energetic and fun. There was a fair amount of sunny and shady places to lounge but few umbrellas at the beach. Nearby was a place for free kayaking but when we went there the staff were at lunch ( no one to cover) so we didnt get to enjoy that.

The resort is not up to standard, the food was unfortunately a disgrace, had all 4 of us staying at the resort sick for 3 days, ruining part of our trip. The bar and restaurant servers are rude if you don't give a tip each time you get a drink, if you give a couple dollars they just look at you.

Not a dull moment at this hotel. The room was excellent, superclean, it had great views of the beach and the pool. Nice beds. The staff was amazing. The hotel is beautiful. Special thanks to Guadalupe at the buffet and the valet who was working 02/15. Great people. 💯 recommend this hotel.

The staff were incredible, food was excellent, service was really good, and our overall experience was great. It was easy to get food, drink, or anything we needed. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 as our room was a bit outdated, with thin walls and and a (locked) door connecting our room to another travellers room. This made it hard to sleep at night as we could hear everything from the other side.

The room was nice and the resort was very clean. Breakfast was amazing however I would give the other meals a lower rating. I miss the entertainment that we had several years ago as there have been some changes.
