Towels and robe seemed very worn out. There is no beach. You have to take the bus to another hotel. If you wanna go to the beach, they do offer a water taxi that was a big plus it was fun.

We really enjoyed our time here. It was also nice having access to other resorts. The service was generally phenomenal. The food was sort of hit or miss. Honestly surpassed my expectations for an all inclusive.

Staff were generally very good and a high point of my stay. The food was generally very poor. It lacked variety and generally arrived cool/warm rather than hot. Only two restaurants were available for dinner with the menu at one of those never changing. Breakfast buffet selection was limited and didn’t vary at all each day.

We stayed at Sunset Marina Resort for 10 days and overall we had a very good experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. When we first arrived, our room had a loud noise from the outdoor AC units, but we told the reception and they quickly changed our room to an even better one. We really appreciated that. Most of the food was tasty, but there was one issue with the desserts. It seems the fridge where desserts are stored has a strong smell, and all the desserts ended up tasting like that fridge. Even though they looked great, the aftertaste made them hard to eat. We saw many guests leaving their desserts unfinished. I would really suggest cleaning or replacing the dessert fridge, because the dessert selection is good, but the taste is affected. The main negative part of our stay was the timeshare presentation. In the hotel, they offer what sounds like a small tour to another resort, but in reality it’s a long sales presentation. We spent almost 5 hours there. They even served me a drink with alcohol after I clearly said I don’t drink, which felt very uncomfortable. The “luxury resort” they showed was also not as described. It felt misleading and took valuable time from our vacation. Other than that, the stay was lovely. The hotel is not on the beach, but there is a shuttle to their sister resort with a beautiful beach. So overall, great staff and atmosphere, just please fix the desserts and avoid the timeshare tour.
