No restaurants in town and the breakfast did not have any hot food. Overall would stay again for location alone. Great tailed grackles are LOUD in the morning.

Misleading breakfast ad

The location is perfect for when visting the Caverns. The room was clean and big. And so was the bathroom. However the breakfast offered is not good at all. A box of fruit loops and coffee... seriously? I feel that that's more of a corteous snack for those who stay. It shouldnt be labeled as breakfast included. Very misleading when other hotels actually invest in issuing breakfast for their guest.

Nice place

We had a very pleasant stay. We were just passing through. We visited Carlsbad caverns which is so conveniently close to this hotel! Would come back!

Super close ro Carlsbad Caverns and within 15 to 20 mins from Carlsbad NM. Thisbisba motel but it was clean, beds comfortable. Had microwave and refrigerator freezer combo.

The room was a great size and very clean. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. The ice machine was broken but the office staff had some for us. The slide was closed which was a bummer as that was one reason we chose this place. It is very close to the cavern which was nice.

Across from the motel there is a "gas station" it is a pay at pump only even though there is a building that appears to have once been a convenience store that is no longer open. The grocery store is quaint but to get certain things we did drive 20 minutes into Carlsbad. Motel was wonderful as was the staff.

This place is convenient for visiting the Carlsbad Caverns. Its clean, quiet, and decently priced, but go into town for food, and bring your own entertainment, although there is wifi. I would likely stay there again if I were to revisit the caves. One small QOL suggestion to the inn: Get some of those night-stand lights with a USB plugin so guests can charge their phones.

Pet friendly and convenient to visit the caverns. Motel style parking in front of or near room. Pool was nice but there was a lot of bird droppings on all the chairs and tables around it. Room was clean and comfortable. Office staff was friendly and helpful.

It’s what you’d expect from the area. Nothing to write home about but felt really safe and did the trick for a stopping point to see the caverns on our way through to Utah. I can see how others feel it’s run down, but the price and convenience were worth it.

Family trip

We arrived on a Friday afternoon. The pool was open but had so much bird poop all over the tables and chairs that they were not really usable. The splash pad was closed. We had a rather large cockroach in the bathroom and a cricket or two the were in the room. The staff was nice and the beds were comfortable. The property shows its age.

Pool is open until 10pm. Friendly staff. Kid friendly place. Short scenic drive to Carlsbad national park. About 15 minutes from town. Restaurant next door is good, but a limited menu. Over priced. Gas station across the way. I would stay again.
