Room was ok. Beds are reasonably comfortable. Shower was terrible. Very annoying handle/operation, shower head so high you get a trickle of lukewarm water (it never got hot). Coffee maker was ridiculous and there was no hot water kettle or microwave. Fridge was full of their stuff to sell, so little room for anything else unless unloaded or moved around. We were there during Cartegena Independance celebration and it was REALLY loud in the adjecent rooms with banging, loud singing etc... They have a kiddie pool which was warmer than the regular pool, and people (adults) congregated there. They could use an actual hot tub. The pool area/bar overall is comfortable and nicely done. It looks better in the pictures however. Breakfast had many options and was good. Service is overall good as well throughout the hotel staff. In gerneral it was ok. Would I stay there again? No.

The room was clean, although the property is clearly in need of an urgent update. The staff were consistently professional and friendly, which was one of the highlights of the stay. Amenities such as the pool and the restaurant met expectations and provided solid comfort. However, an important drawback is the beach directly in front of the hotel. It is public and filled with extremely insistent vendors; at times it feels harassing, making it difficult to relax or enjoy the beach. Because of this, I generally wouldn’t return to this hotel in Bocagrande. Instead, I would recommend choosing hotels in the El Morro area for a more enjoyable beach experience.
