We have stayed here on numerous trip to wach the Abbotsfor We stay here often when we go the Abbotsford Canuck games because of its location and price. A little disappointed this time with the condition of the room. The carpet was old and ratty and the cleanliness of the bathroom was below par. Breakfast is always a bit lacking, but its right beside a Hortons. Not sure if we'll stay here again.

It's a great hotel, just a little dated, service (reception and house maid) excellent, the breakfast is well, laughable, toast (if the person looking after the breakfast room puts bread in the room, today, she couldn't be bothered to put white bread in and when i asked for the waffles to be made and put out, it was like i asked her to re-roof my house)! However, yesterday's server was lovely and really helpful and although there wasn't much breakfast items, they were stocked. We were in a pet room, which was great, there's a lovely grassed area at the rear of the rooms and they're lit in the night, perfect. I don't want to find fault with the room although it did what it needed to do for us, there was mould on the bathroom walls, the sink overflow looks like it had never been cleaned and was also mouldy, and under the rim of the toilet, well, I'll save you that vision. Again, i don't want to be 'that guy' as the hotel was great and the staff mostly great and the price of the room also great, makes breakfast better, clean the rooms better. All that said, we would absolutely stay there again.

Check in Desk personal were oblivious to us and acted as if they could care less about welcoming us. Mistress was so bad that you rolled into center…poor support. Bathroom sink drained slowly as if it was badly plugged. Heating /cooling machine was terribly noisy each time in came on ALL NIGHT! NOT A GOOD SLEEP Breakfast 3 out of 10 stars!

Overall, we had a great experience with this hotel. The front desk was super friendly - the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel had plenty of parking and located walking distances to various fast food and sit-down restaurants, close to the highway as well. The only recommendation was to expand the continental breakfast offering - cannot complain too much as it was free. Highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

Never Again

Found black hair and dirt in supposedly cleaned sheets. The afternoon laundry staff member verified that the morning cleaning staff cause issues regularly. Breakfast was a joke. Always out of everything. Be warned. Not even an apology from the front desk staff.
