Great stay!!

La quintas are always clean and up to date, but this one is especially neat and well cared for. Also we love that the parking areas have lots of good lighting during the night. The breakfast lady was so concerned about us having what we needed. And the breakfast was very good. Centrally located.

Hotel was laid out conveniently and parking and room accessibility was great! Breakfast was very good. Our room was fine but the curtains were snagged with a small cut on the blackout curtain. Sometimes I see this elsewhere so we just accept it. Otherwise thank you!

Visit to rockport

I love how close the hotel was to several restaurants. We also enjoyed the hotel’s amazing breakfast each morning. I loved how easy it was to get to the beach and water. We had a very relaxing visit. Was nice to come back to a quiet hotel and nice shower after a day exploring.

Housekeeping: On checkin was told housekeeping was done every 3rd day and asked if that was ok .. said I guessed so .. not done on third day . Asked lady at the front desk who told me that it had to be booked beforehand and my name was not on the list. This was not mentioned at check-in. I took towels, garbage down to front desk. Met with apathy. Phone: not working for any outgoing calls. When a fellow came to check it, he said that the cords had been plugged into the wrong spot? Fridge: kept freezing stuff. No setting to turn it down. Guy said that if it was still freezing in a couple of days that he would come and replace it. Froze all week. Breakfast : was pretty lame. No gluten-free bread items like muffins or toast or waffles. When I requested about this, they said well there’s yogurt. And fruit. Three apples were out the first day. And down to one with a big bump on it by day three. No other fruit options. Not replenished days 4,5,6 or 7. Coffee not replaced on a regular basis and usually ran out within the first hour and took over an hour to be replaced again. Empty apple juice not replenished. Dryer: ineffective ( 45 minutes for 8 items still very damp). Door on bathroom by pool area doesn’t close fully. Ice machine on 3rd floor out of service when we arrived and still out of service 7 days later. Maybe this place would be ok for a one or two night stay. Our friends had stayed here for two nights. And they had recommended it, but we will not be recommending.
