Never Again Motel 6

Motel 6 was very bad. The front desk refunded our money and we went to a different hotel - Marriott. Cigarette burn holes in the bed spreading for a non-smoking room. Room smells liked smoke and the towel rack hanging off the wall. I have pictures.

Extreme disappointed

We arrived very late 1am due to traffic conditions but our check in was pretty easy, no concerns. Upon entering the room, it apeared ok. We soon realized there were NO towels. The toliet had one screw holding the seat on so it made using the bathroom very uncomfortable. The next morning i went downstairs for towels only to be questioned as to if i had any towels in the room. My respone was, "No, none". She gave me a questionable look and gave me 1 set and was told that was all she had. The next morning i brought the dirty towls down and asked for 2 cleann sets. I got the same exact response, same employee, only this time she gave me 2 sets. We were given no housekeeping services during our 3 night stay. We checked out 9/1. As we were going down the stairs, we encountered an employee, sitting on the stairs, smoking cannabis. We had heavy bags, etc She did not move and we had to maneuver around her which was dangerous for me because i have a knee injury. . We usually stay in Ripley because we come to Ripley every Labor Day. This was a bad experience for choosing to stay in Covington this time.

It was very quiet and they was willing to work with you as far as paying for rooms... Only problem I had or didn't like with one of the women that work there an older lady was kind of rude and disrespectful to people

Since my first visit, I stay here every chance I get. I’m always away for work and this is a cheap alternative to other hotels. It’s cheap but always clean and nice. I haven’t had any issues yet.

Stayed one night. The bed had all the comfort of a trampoline without the fun — every move popped, cracked, and made me wonder if I’d end up on the floor by morning. The floors looked like they’d seen some things, and the bathroom could use a spa day. On the bright side, the AC could probably refrigerate meat, so no complaints there. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a collection of friendly reminder signs like “Don’t be an easy target” and “Use the deadbolt and chain lock.” Nothing says “sweet dreams” like thinking you might need to barricade the door. All in all, it did the job for the night, but I’ll let someone else have my spot next time.

Room was clean and beds were clean and comfortable. However, the information said 2 queen beds and the room had 2 double. Part of the night lock was missing on door so not usable. I moved the desk chair in fron of door for more security. Shower and tub combination but no way to turn on shower. Lobby was locked and check in and check out was done at small night service window. We checked in at 8:14 p.m. and checked out at 7:48 a.m. local time. No breakfast was offered.
