Vee the front desk receptionist, who also claimed to be the owner, was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful.
During the morning breakfast rush, in front of other guests, she raised her voice at me simply because I politely asked whether any first-floor rooms were available. I am nearly 70 years old, and the elevators were not working and I explained it was painful to go up and down the stairs.
Instead of offering assistance or even a calm explanation, she loudly screamed at me that because I “paid a low rate,” they would not be switching my room. I tried to explain that the rate shown online was out of my control, but she continued to escalate the matter and scream at me more. I have never seen such unprofessional level of service.
To make matters worse, while checking out, I witnessed Vee aggressively knocking on guest doors and loudly telling them it was time for check out. It reinforced the overall lack of professionalism at this hotel.
I truly hope management reconsiders who they allow to represent their customer service, because this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I have ever had.
