COMMUNICATION FOR CHECKING-IN ON SUNDAY WAS FRUSTRATING! AND A DEFINITELY PROBLEM! I WAITED FOR A RESPONSE BETWEEN 1 - 1 1/2 HOURS TO FINALLY GET A RESPONSE BACK WHEN I CALLED AND REPORTED TO EXPEDIA / HOTELS.COM! PHONE NUMBER ON THE DOOR WAS A NON-RESPONSE NUMBER THAT NEVER RESPONDED BACK! EVEN THE DOOR-RING ACTIVATIONS WERE IGNORED FOR OVER AN HOUR!! NEVER PUT INEFFECTUAL NUMBERS / AND RESPONDERS / PRODUCTS ( PHONE NUMBERS / DOOR-RINGS ) ON YOUR OUTDOOR DISPLAYS!! I MISSED SEEING SOME OF MY DAYTONA BEACH BAND MUSICIAN FRIENDZ PERFORM BECAUSE OF THE INEFFECTUAL METHODS AT TRYING TO CHECK-IN LAST SUNDAY, 10/05/25! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EFFECTUAL PHONE NUMBERS / AND CALLIN-METHODS ( EFFECTUAL DOOR-RINGERS ) OPERATING AT AFTER HOURS CHECK-INS! THAT WAS THE POOREST CHECK-IN EVER WITH MY DAYTONA HOTELS HISTORY SINCE 2003! PLEASE DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!! HOWEVER, THE STAY WAS VERY COMFORTABLE! THE OCEANFRONT UPGRADE WAS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Location is ideal. We had a room overlooking the ocean. Beach was a stones throw from the hotel. The room itself could use a refresh. I also got a room for family and the AC was out of order, which made their room quite musty. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. All in all, if you would like a place to rest your head close to the beach, this is it.

First of all, it should be listed as a MOTEL!!!!!! We booked the room through Expedia, where it is listed as a 4 star hotel (that's a shame for Expedia for misleading us). First room they gave us, it smelled REALLY bad and the bed was shabby. You could tell that the bad was not even made after the previous stay. I went to the reception and they upgraded us to one of their "Best rooms", next to the pool. The room still had a moldy smell but at least the bed was "clean". One of the air conditioners had a huge hole near the wall so we had to put lots of paper towel to cover it. The bathroom door had a poorly covered hole that you could tell it was from a punch. After the sunset, outside it was pitch black so I went to the reception desk to ask them to turn the lights on. To my surprise, the office was closed, lights off with the "no vacancy" sign on. But I could tell that no more that 5 rooms were booked in the whole place. I drove to get a pizza to eat it in the room because we were afraid to leave all our stuff in the room and go out to eat. We barricaded ourselves in the room and waited for the night to pass.

The room was excellent, not perfect, but well made and very clean. The bed was awesome, and the pillows were great! We had a full size refrigerator in our room, and the ocean view was amazing! The staff were very nice, and they were constantly cleaning the whole area and building. You can tell they take pride in their hotel. The beach was amazing even with some rainy days. Definitely would go back! There were only a couple of issues, nothing major. Our bathroom window did not lock, but we were on the second floor so not a huge deal. Also the blinds on the front windows had a broken section so we covered it. Other than that it was great!

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out everyone was very friendly .Tevin really went out of his way to help if we needed something. The property was clean and no issues with parking like we have had at other hotels.

Nice older hotel on beach!

Hotel is a bit dated but room was clean and very large! Room has a separate kitchen which was nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only one set of towels, no big deal, I always bring our own. Parking was chaos coming in late at night from the Daytona race, but knew it would be and planned for it. View of ocean is gorgeous! For the money paid, will definitely stay again!
