They should have mentioned that there is ongoing construction around the property. We wouldn’t have booked it. There was a lot of noise all the time and a lot of dust in balcony that you can not even sit for 10 minutes.

Construction dust, Noisy, dingy carpets, needs a full interior redo! Stayed for 5 nights thinking it looked good in pictures and it would be conveniently close to DT Dubai but boy, was I mistaken!! We got a family room. It was facing an enormous construction site (which will likely take another 2 years to complete by the looks of it). The dust from the site is all pervasive, there’s no escaping it. It’s in your room, in your closets and bathroom, on the patio, in the restaurant dining patio, you name it. My allergies flared up so much during the stay that I preferred spending more time outside than in my room. They didn’t bother to change the room despite asking on the first day and day-3 of our stay. Restaurants are decent but quite expensive ($15 for a Heineken beer on tap, for example). Breakfast buffet was good. Wait staff was a mixed bag. One waiter took our vegetable omelette order and when we asked him to make it without green peppers, he refused (“that’s how we make it!”) .. I mean, how hard is it to just not put one ingredient?! The property also needs a facelift. Common areas are nice but rooms and corridor carpeting is old and dingy, should have been replaced a couple of years ago. You notice deferred maintenance in many places. 2-star is the closest I can give to this property for the price I paid and comparing my experience to how they advertised it.
