It was fine but not excellent.

The curtains were covered in something gross, and housekeeping forgot to give us any toilet paper. Then it took nearly an hour to get it and only after my spouse went to the front desk. The room light blinks, and I can't believe housekeeping didn't notice it. All the staff are very nice and helpful. We didn't notice much noise at all, but we were given earplugs.

This was such a lovely property. Everything was perfect. The location was right in the middle of everything, food options all up and down the street, the hop on hop off bus and regular bus were a block away. Almost all of the attractions were walkable between 2-15 mins. The hotel was clean, pretty, and very quiet even with the crowds outside. The staff was absolutely amazing! They left a note and chocolates for my son’s 18th birthday and wished him a happy birthday at check in. They made several recommendations for food and fun around the city and even secured us a taxi for 4:30am! We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

The location is central to most attractions. So we liked that a lot. Easy access to air coach stop to and from the airport. Temple Bar is a noisy area so noise control is a challenge for a hotel. We like to keep the windows open when sleeping so it’s a choice between natural ventilation or a noisy environment to sleep in. We chose to closed the windows so we could sleep. Ear plugs were a nice option, but they’re not comfortable to sleep in.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Dublin and, while the room was clean, the facilities were very disappointing. The water in the shower wouldn’t stay warm, and neither the shower nor sink drained properly. The toilet flush barely worked, and the room’s power supply was unreliable—lights only worked intermittently, even with the key card inserted. For the price, the experience was not worth it.

As an American in Dublin for the first time for a family wedding, I did not know what I was booking. I received very little interaction from staff and cleaning crew. Do not book if you want to sleep at all. The noise from the bar below is unbearable. I wore ear plugs and ear muffs over my ears and as a man who can sleep thru anything and has, I didn’t sleep at all. The room and walls were vibrating. Definitely in the downtown area where apparently bars and music go well past 2 am. I was there for a wedding and thankfully I was moved to Kilkenny after three nights. Also, I didn’t realize till after leaving that their rates were basically jacked up two to three times due to football games and tourists to see it. After paying $600-700 for two of the nights, I left and paid that much to stay in a castle. I will not be back to this hotel. Thankful my wife had to cancel at the last minute because she would not have lasted five mins there.

Hotel is in a great walkable location near many points of interest in the city center. The street is very busy and music and noise from the outside is heard when window is open.

Long weekend at Temple Bar

Great hotel. Clean. Location is ideal. There’s a convenience store right across. The bar connected to the hotel is great too. Only thing to note is you can still hear a bit of the noise outside. The hotel did provide ear plugs. Noise is probably less if you stay on the higher floors.
