Stayed here for a few nights and honestly, the main highlight was the location, you really can’t beat it. Right in the middle of downtown Dublin, super easy to walk everywhere. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were really friendly, which was a nice touch. The room had a small kitchen, which was super handy and probably the reason a lot of people rate this place so highly. If you’re staying longer or want to cook your own meals, it’s definitely a plus. That said, the hotel itself was just okay. My room smelled a bit like smoke, and the bar and restaurant were closed, which was a bit of a letdown. Nothing terrible, just not as great as some of the reviews had me expecting. All in all, not a bad stay, just don’t expect anything fancy. Great location, helpful staff, and the kitchen is useful, but otherwise pretty average.

We stopped for 4 nights recently and found the Zanzibar Locke to be a fantastic place stay. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We had a twin room on the first floor (room 1.16) and it was spacious and modern with a small fitted kitchen with cooking facilities,fridge,microwave/oven and washing machine. The bathroom was modern and spacious. It is right next to the famous Halfpenny Bridge which leads straight into the Tempke Bar area. There are plenty of dining,bars and shops nearby.

Really fab property right in the heart of everything! Loved having the little living area, only used it to have coffee in the mornings but was really nice to have seating and kitchen area rather than sitting on the bed having coffee. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed (although pillows not great), really quiet despite being right in the middle of everything. Lovely staff, absolutely would stay again!
