Check in was ok, not super welcoming. The room smelled weird and felt dirty overall. The bathroom door had damage to it, like an animal had been locked in it. I should have done my research better. Didn’t enjoy staying her with family. Maybe as a single traveler.

The staff on site during our stay, especially Brock at the front desk, went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. It was a very busy weekend (multiple sports tournaments in the area) but Brock followed through when we needed extra items for our room. In addition, he called after we’d checked out to tell us that housekeeping had found our son’s AirPods so we were able to pick them up before we left town. I cannot thank him enough, as well as the housekeeping staff, for going the extra mile!

There is a confusing pet policy. I filtered for pet friendly motels but then when I arrive, I find out it's dogs only. Unfortunately I brought my cat. This could have been a huge problem because there was a kids baseball tournament that weekend and finding another place would have been near impossible. Speaking of that, as a teacher just starting spring break, a motel full of ten year old boys running up and down the halls was my worst nightmare. However, the staff was very accommodating and ultimately I was able to bring in my cat. The kids, while annoying, quieted down during sleep hours.
