Great stay!!

Had a great stay. I knew it was a pet friendly resort so I was thankful that I wasn’t over-exposed due to my severe allergies. The dogs were kept on leases in the common areas and were well behaved. The resort has a terrific size pool and life guards on duty which puts guests minds at ease.

Wonderful stay and the king suite was amazing! Pool was big. And breakfast was mostly grab n go but plentiful. We will definitely be back! Staff was very nice!

Well went there a lot when it was holiday inn was not happy with our room moved to another room and it was worst charged more them I was quoted for the price should have been for a luxury resort that I was charged not happy with the stay ,it was already a sad trip for 2 funerals hopefully it gets better when there done re renovation

Hotel is a work in progress. Outside pool area is nice. Room bed was comfortable, bathroom not updated and sink did not drain. Continental breakfast was hit and miss. I think it depended on the truck delivery. First day breakfast, oatmeal packets and frozen waffles were the only thing offered.

Overall, the property was nice. I enjoyed my view of the marina, although I had to request it. I also had to request to please be separate from pets and children if possible, since I travel for work. It’s usually not perfect, but the lady at the desk did try to accommodate me as much as possible. Typically, I try to avoid hotels that are super pet and family friendly because I have very early mornings for work but during this time of year, it’s unavoidable and I understand that.

Be Aware Before Staying

The Inn is really a nice place and very convenient. I was disappointed in my room, however, due to several things wrong. First, the TV remote didn't work. Then, there was in issue with the mattress. Though starting out feeling quite comfortable, during the night I realized it sagged in the middle causing major discomfort with my back. Lastly, the shower didn't work.

Wonderful stay for my friends birthday.Janai at front desk was exceptional in getting birthday care for the room and assuring a waterfront room. Janai and my friend shared the same birthday. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Will be my new getaway spot.

The property is undergoing changes. The room keys did not work and there needs to be an upgrade on the door locks so that people don't have to keep going to the front desk to say "My key does not work. I noticed that there were several guest whose keys did not work. The Personnel are very friendly and the cleaning crew that cleaned our room was very nice and did a good job. I loved the pool and the pyoxcemidy of the hotel to the little town. The hotel was gracious enough to discount my bill to make me whole again. I appreciated that because, the trip was for my sister's birthday and I wanted a wonderful experience for her.

Pros: there are walkable restaurants to eat. Boomerangs was Fantastic choice! And just 7 minutes walking from the hotel. Hotel and pool was clean. They allow dogs! Eventhough we didn’t have one it was nice to see as it made the hotel more lively. Personnel was friendly. Rooms, gym area, breakfast area seem clean and our (3rd) floor and entrance floor are all renovated. Pool was great and there is corn hole and wooden block games around the back of the pool (which no one told us about). We traveled with our 6 year old daughter so it would have been nice to know earlier. Plenty of free parking it almost seemed empty. Very close to the Maritime Museum which was informative and the otters were very entertaining! Cons: the basement where laundry services are is NOT renovated and smelled very humid and moldy. We did not use the laundry because of this. Breakfast is free but is only fridge items and coffee machines. There were microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, tea bags, almond milk, fridge waffle, packaged cooked eggs all in fridge. There is no waffle machine.

I love the staff Mr. Colvin and all the wonderful Receptionist. The room was clean and house keeping amazing. The life guard was awesome as well. The breakfast was plentiful. The over all stay was joyful...Thanks much!!!!
