Everything was as expected but the gal who checked us in didn't inform us that she would be charging the deposit for if any incidental. She just said they would put card on file if there were any additional charges not fo ahead and charge it. Clear Communication upfront would have been nice excepting seeing a couple 100 taken out. I did mention this to the staff after it was realized

The rooms were beautiful, clean and well supplied. However, it was HOT. There was an issue with the air conditioning and the temperature stayed between 75 and 77 degrees in HOT 90+ degree Fort Myers. I was offered another room a few doors down and it was the same - HOT! The thermostat in that room was set on 69 and it what's definitely mid to upper 70's. The staff employees looked at the air conditioning, and we're unable to fix it and said that there is no air conditioning maintenance available until Monday. Loved the air conditioning in the halls and in the lobby!!!

Appreciated the location, the ease of checking in, the pool and patio area and workout facility. The only disappointment was the black mold on the very tiny balcony and extremely dimly lit bathroom.

The staff here were very helpful and kind. But when we walked into our room it had a bad odor. The place looked clean, but the odor was really bad. They quickly and kindly moved us to another room, and we stayed there, but there was also a strong smell, this time of pool water. I sprayed some room freshener and stayed there anyways. I think there’s definitely room for improvement in room readiness and freshness.

Comfortable home from home feel,clean amenities,some maintenence issues when I arrived that personally was not keeping with Marriott company was that elevator out of order on my arrival ,annoying to have to pay for coffee in lobby when the smaller hotels provide courtesy breakfast and all day courtesy coffee and water when i had to pay and alot of Ice machines not working so to use stairs and walk along way to get ice didn't seem like a "Marriott"style at all !!
