Great Hotel!

I will give this hotel 5 stars because my only problem was the bed being too soft for my body. I cannot fault the hotel for this as there are others that may find the bed perfect for them. Everything else about the hotel and my stay there was excellent and would recommend it for people doing an overnight stay (sorry, but the room was a bit small for anyone staying for an extended period). The staff were friendly and courteous. Greeted my wife and I each time we entered the lobby. The entire hotel had a level of cleanliness which surpassed many hotels I have stayed in so kudos to those that made that happen!

The hotel was nice!! Everything was fine. My issue was that the clerk gave me a room that was possibly already rented out. I pursed to open the room door, and the inside latch kept the door from opening. I the asked the clerk if that room was rented out ,because the inside latch would not allow me to open the door, and he said he didnt know!! So he then gave me a different room which was fine. The next morning we woke up to get ready, so we need to iron our clothes, but there wasnt an ironing board. So i was going to call the front clerk but there wasn't a phone in the room. So i went down to the front office and asked for one. She said she would have one sent in a few minutes. Well, i we finally gave up after waiting for 30 minutes. Finally, when we were about to leave someone showed up!!

The property is clean. Staff are nice. Check-in took less than five minutes. Room was nice and clean and has everything needed. However, my stay here was awful due to the noise. The walls are really thin and the unit next to mine was up until 2am being really loud. This isn’t the fault of the staff, just the building itself. I couldn’t get any sleep at due to the thin walls with little noise isolation. Breakfast was ok. Basic grab and go stuff.

There were 2 rancid baby bottles under the beds that my children found(none of our kids drink out of bottles anymore). The ironing board was broke, fell and hit me in the face when I attempted to use it. The iron stained my clothes, our room was never cleaned and we stayed for 3 days. We did not have a privacy sign up and were vacant from the room almost the entire day all 3 days. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for toilet paper and more towels. The breakfast is a lesser offering than most hotels but not terrible. I wouldn’t stay here again and I would probably stay away from any Avid Hotel moving forward.

Very close to restraunts walking distance there was no tub and we didn’t no that we had a visitor at 11:30 at night trying to get in our room our phone didn’t work in our room to call down stairs other then that everything was good
