It is a cheaper motel and an old motel so must keep this in mind as to what you will expect. Room was clean and the mattresses cheap, yet not too firm. Quite understandable about the damage security deposit upon check in since the previous person that stayed apparently punched a hole in the shower, not an easy fix. The motel was very quiet and I slept quite well. The motel room served its purpose for me.

I took one step inside my room and it smelled like someone had been chain smoking cigars. The lobby had obviously just been fumigated. The parking lot was full of potholes. They charge you per day for your dogs so if you have more than one it’s gonna get pricey. Plus a $50 security deposit. It was so stinky in the room I didn’t stay. And I couldn’t get a refund so thanks oyo! It was a great time! Not!

Oh my. The pictures do not represent the location current status. It is extremely run down and disgusting. Not worth the price I paid, not worth staying even if its the last hotel available. I was so disappointed, unsafe, uncomfortable, (the bed was low key comfortable), but uncomfortable on the way i felt in the room. Curtains all dirty and disgusting. Poorly cleaned. There was empty toilet paper rolls. The doors were destroyed and the bathroom door did not even close. I felt embarrassed to had my family stay there. I'm unsure how this is still in business, and unsure why it is part of Expedia. To top it all off, the lady in the morning was completely rude and unfriendly, (and no I didnt even complained or said anything to her). The night person, was not there when we arrived but was an absolute sweetheart! He was kind and nice. But the lady in the morning the complete opposite.

The whole place is rusty. Provided 2 cheap pillows per bed. A half a roll of toilet paper. 2 small towels. We had to go and purchase additional pillows, towels and our own toilet paper. The remote to the TV would not work I had to go to the office for new batteries and it still did not work. Then he gave me 2 additional remotes that did not work. We cut our trip short and checked out. There was a spider and a stink bug inside. And the toilet was leaking in the back and they put a small towel there.

DON'T STAY HERE!

This property's condition is misrepresented in the photos I saw on hotels.com, as well as the pre-discounted price. There is no way ANYONE would ever pay what the site claimed was their regular price. We picked this hotel because we were looking for clean, simple accommodation, simply a place to sleep without a lot of extras or expense. Upon arrival, I noticed the exterior in severe disrepair. I entered the lobby to find it cluttered, being used for storage, and furmished with old, faded, shabby furniture. The surface of the check-in counter appeared grimy. I started to fill in the guest form, then thought I better take a look at the room first. As the manager led me to the room, I saw that some rooms' door locks are broken or missing, the exterior paint on every door is peeling, most room ventilation covers are cracked and broken, etc...When he opened the door to my room, the door frame was damaged and broken, the floor boards were separated throughout the room, it was dusty, dirty and the lampshade from the wall lamp was entirely missing. When I told the manager that the propery was misrepresented on hotels.com and the property's website, he said something like, "You wanted a cheap room, this is what you can expect." I told him that I expected what was represented by the photos and site information and I requested a refund. He refused because I had chosen a non-refundable reservation. I called hotels.com for support; he left the property to avoid talking to Hotels' rep.

Do not stay here

Lobby and the room smelt disgusting and moldy. Sheets were not washed, couch was stained, room and walls were in terrible condition. Bathroom was moldy and not clean at all.

All wall outlets had wires hanging out of them, and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. The sheets were stained. The curtains did not close. The floors were not mopped, leaving spills in several places. The shower was covered in hair. The door had to be slammed shut, and excessive force had to be used to get the door open. The staff were not helpful. There were homeless people sitting all around the property. People yelling from one of the rooms.

This was the worst place I have ever booked. I have literaly been Catfished with this place. The photos shown are not what it is. When we walked into the lobby we were hit with the odor of mold and feet. A Gentleman up front with no shoes on checked us in and asked for a $50.00 deposit, and told us he is giving us his best room. We felt (ok, our room wil be better). We were wrong. The room was discusting and smelt of mold. I dreaded to take a shower, but I needed one. Had to put my sandles on to even shower because the shower was so horrid. Also, everywhere else felt unsanitary to even sit down. Including the worn out bed and furniture. We proceeded to go to dinner plans and come back hoping things would feel better. We were wrong again. The room reeked of mold and previous customers bad life chioces so bad, we could not breath well. We packed up our few things and went to the office to let them know our concerns. The man with no shoes on stated there was nothing he could do for us beside refunding the $50.00 deposit after he went up to review the room. He asked me to have a seat while he checked the room, but the lobby's discarded old room furniture looked disgusting. We were stuck looking for another hotel at our additional expense at 10 pm.

We arrived and the room was atrocious. The air conditioner rattled so loud it shook the entire room and turned off and on all night. At 3 AM I registered a formal complaint with Expedia and we booked a hotel elsewhere. I went the next morning and they told me at the desk that they would honor the ability to refund the second night of our stay and then turned around and told Expedia that they would not be able to do that. This is absolutely misrepresented on every website, including Expedia. Do not stay here!

Booking through expedia was different as I was unsure if I paid on line. Was charged $50 at check in for a room that was iffy at best. $50 was not returned after the stay. Had to check the sheets to see if they were clean. This was a bad experience.

Fortunately the site is walking distance to the beach, grocery store, and a couple of good restaurants. The front desk guy was knowledgeable and polite. Our non-smoking room wreaked of smoke we stayed there for 4 days never had any housekeeping the toilet didn't work well light was out and they were always weird people lurking about... This shouldn't be more than a $40 or $50 a night room
