Everything was great with the exception of a leaky heat/ac unit. The employee we told acted as if it was nothing so we just made sure to stay away from the wet floor. Other than that this place has great views, staff and kid friendly amenities. We, being owners of bluegreen, ar e used to a resort and this hotel gives you that same feel! Would absolutely recommend for families and anyone wanting a nice place with fun things to do and enjoy the beauty of the mountains!

The hotel is close to the downtown attractions and the hotel’s restaurant is excellent. Staff are very friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is on a hill with nice views. The hotel advises not to leave food in the car so that bears don’t damage the car trying to get to the food.

Nice, secluded facility 1000' above Gatlinburg!!! The views from our room, especially at night, we're fantastic! Don't plan on spending any time on your rooms balcony.. Very small, with no chairs, a high solid wall, and lots ofittlw harmless, but annoying, bugs. Also be aware of the bear warning signs....if you leave food in you vehicle, the bears have been known to break in!! One last thing.. Very easy the the National Park, but if you want to avoid long traffic lines, you need to be in the park shortly after sunrise, at least during leaf peeping season.

Mountain view was very nice and the room was a good size. The bugs were terrible but it was that time of year, the drawers on the dresser were all messed and didn't want to open and close, the shower made a whole lot of noise and the carpeted floors should be updated. The air didn't work well either.

We really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is our balcony was FULL of bugs. My kids were scared to go out there. Stink bugs and another type of bug. We found over 3 alive stink bugs in our room the last night and we didn’t even open our balcony door. Loved the room service each day and fresh towels. Staff was super friendly. We will be back.

My granddaughter loved the pool. The drive up to the hotel is daunting should you miss the trolley but there's not much to be done about that. The room was very clean and the view was lovely. Staff was very pleasant..

I stayed here with several family members and it was wonderful. Only two areas of concern but they didn’t ruin the trip. Breakfast was great, but the service inside the dining room was cold and almost rude. We chalked it up to being shorthanded and didn’t let it bother us, however we ate breakfast elsewhere after the first day. Also, there is no free coffee?? The coffee in room was terrible and there was no coffee elsewhere except where you had to lay $4 for a cup. I travel a lot and have stayed at other Hilton’s and this was just strange…. But again….it wasn’t enough to discourage us and I would stay there again , I will just bring my own coffee for the room… lol. Overall it was a beautiful hotel, beautiful views and a great location for us!

The view feom this hotel is nothing short of magnificent. The staff are friendly. We ate breakfast at the hotel twice. It seemed only a small step above other hotel breakfasts and was overpriced. We ate our other breakfasts at restaurants in town, less expensive and fresher food. During our 8 day stay we enjoyed the view from our balcony but couldnt go out there due to a sea of dead bugs that had swarmed the hotel but were not swept up even though we requested it. We had also noticed bags of trash that were left by the pillars near the elevators on our floor. After 2 or 3 days they smelled badly and were finally removed after we complained. It is a beautiful hotel with lively rooms, lobby abd view. Just needs a few tweaks to make it magnificent.
