The bed was uncomfortable and really hurt our backs, we were given a wheel chair accessible room so the shower was a bit difficult to figure out. But over all the check in staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel waa VERY clean. Will certainly stay there again if we stay in that area

Our only issued was getting a housekeeping. I called their number but always go straight to voicemail. I called the guest service telling them I need housekeeping and didn’t wait for me to finish my sentence. He just transferred me to the line but ended up to voicemail. I called back again the guest service telling them I can’t get hold to the housekeeping only voicemail. He told me they are busy maybe try again later. I left a voicemail I need a housekeeping in my room. Expecting that they will be cleaning once I’m back. After 2 hours went back to my room still not clean. Tried to call again the housekeeping but voicemail. Since then, I didn’t bother anymore house keeping to clean the room. Never Change the garbage. I have 2 kids with me so more water bottles and snacks in the garbage bin. We stayed two nights so all the towels that was used since Friday till Sunday we checked out was never change.

Quick overnight stay. Good food options nearby, not too far off the highway. Rooms are very nice and Los of parking. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hamilton.

I booked my stay here as I had a coupon. Why not, and a wedding. When I arrived, I was nicely informed that the room was upgraded! What an upgrade, it looked like a condo unit! It was amazing. Just felt bad I couldn't,t stay long enough to use the kitchenette. The room was extremely clean.

Everything was lovely, quick and smooth check-in, the staff was very friendly, having the Denny's and Moxie's attached were perfect for a nice breakfast and lovely dinner, would happily stay again if needed.

A basic budget motel. Room average we have stay In better for less on this trip. Shampoo conditioner and lotion provide in 1 ounce tube…. For three people. No body wash only two of the smallest bars of soap ever made. The sink did not have a drain cover so had to cover with a face cloth so if you dropped anything in the sink it would been gone down the drain.

We stayed for one night, and the location was very central. The gym is small, and the treadmill was out of order. However, the pool and hot tub were nice. I appreciate that you don't have to leave the hotel to access Denny's and Moxie's. Overall, it was a great staycation.

Another wonderful stay at Sandman Hotel

From check in to check out the staff were courteous and friendly. I have to make trips to Hamilton from time to time to go to one of the local hospitals there ... I had booked an accessible room my first time staying at the Sandman and loved the fact they had raised toilet seats, built in shower seats and lots of grab bars making using the bathroom during my stay easy & safe. I booked the same way again and upon check in we were actually booked into the same room as before but when I went into the bathroom it had been renovated and the built in shower seat was no longer there. I was extremely worried as I can not stand to bathe ... I called the front desk with my concern especially considering the photos on the booking site showed the bathroom as it had been before and was told they had free standing bath stools available and she brought it up to our room along with a few extra towels. Added a huge sigh of relief to my stay there. The room was clean and comfortable and having 2 restaurants on site as well as others in the surrounding area and stores nearby makes it a win win. We'll be back when next I have an appt at the hospital.
