Very convenient place to stay. Walking distance to memorial sites, castle and art museums and food. Hotel room had dated decor- this did not bother us (80s style) but might with others.

Nice and extremely large hotel. Check is not open until 3 PM, so don't even try. Rooms were fine. The problem was the breakfast buffet. The line was extremely long (20 minutes) to get in, but once we got there there were many tables empty. In addition the lay-out of the food is poorly organized and the condition of the floor was poor - areas of ripped carpet. For a high end hotel this was rather disappointing. In addition the service was average - below the level of service typical in Japan.

Although the Righa is starting to show its age, it’s a very comfortable and convenient hotel for those visiting Hiroshima. Staff were excellent, room comfortable and the views over the city and mountains were incredible.

Great location, with views to Hiroshima Castle from the room I had and a metro station within 2 mins walk of the property. Helpful staff, always going above and beyond to help. Sky Restaurant has amazing views of the city on 33rd floor. Only thing I would say the rooms are a little dated, but no complaints and all works as it should.

The hotel was very nice, staff was great. Rooms were very old though could use a renovation. The restaurants also could use more flavoring to the food the food in the city tasted much better. Also the A/C took forever to cool the room. Shower was amazing though.

The room and bathroom were both spacious, with a great view of the City from the 28th floor window. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient. The Hotel location was great for walking to the tourist areas, and for transport to the station and Miyajima.

Our stay here was great. The hotel is a bit dated but it is conveniently located, the room was very clean and large, housekeeping was thorough and the breakfast was fantastic. Our daughter loved the automatic pancake machine and rice dispencer. Very cool. The staff were exceptional as well. Really great service here. The location is walkable to the major sites around Hiroshima and we took a nearby ferry to Hiyajima as well. If you care about having something young and trendy, this may not be the right choice but it definitely worked for us.

No coffee in the room and to order on line it was ~$21 for two cups of coffee, needed to ask for toilet paper on arrival, ice bucket left full of water after room cleaned. Staff were attentive to our requests and very respectful. Rooms are outdated. The breakfast isn't free as you elect to purchase it for a fee.

The hotel staff are exceedingly friendly. We arrived early and dropped of our bags so we could go sight seeing for a few hours. When we came back and checked in they brought our bags to the room. There was jo charge for them holding the bags or delivering them to our room. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We had dinner in the hotel at the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant on the sixth floor and the service and food were both very good.
