Our stay here was so relaxing and hotel smells amazing like a spa. Hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. Who needs a pool when waikiki beach is just a few steps away. Plus you can rent beach chairs, mats, floaties, snorkel gear etc. Also, valet parking is quick. No long waits to get your car. Would recommend this hotel for couples/small groups since rooms are small but otherwise we’ll definitely go back.

The hotel is right in the center of Waikiki by the zoo. Super nice and recently redone. Stayed for a quick staycation. Would stay again.

My kids thought the staff were really nice, but I'm not sure what interaction they had that made them think that. We tried to check in early but could not, understandable. However, we waited and they didn't even have our room ready in time for the regular check in. After traveling so many hours, this really sucked. The maintenance team fixed a broken door quickly. They don't have in room yes or coffee. They offer coffee in the lobby from 6-8 am. I'm a tea drinker. It doesn't seem like such a big ask to have some coffee and tea more available.

Great location but that’s about it

The good: The location of this hotel is fantastic. It’s right by Twin Fin which is a pickup point for many tour buses and the pink line trolley. The renew and relaxation branding is strange. This is just a very old “paint over the problem” hotel. The meh: The room had an old musty smell. The carpet is probably original to the building and had stains. The sliding window doors were broken on one side. The AC would never get the room comfortably cold unless it was overcast in Waikīkī, and it constantly made loud cracking and banging mechanical noises. The bad: the bed pad under the sheets had blood stains and other kinds of stains. The “resort” fee is a monumental joke. It’s just another way to hit tourists with a last-minute hidden small text fees. Do not get a car if you’re planning on staying in Waikīkī, as the parking fee is another joke. Take the trolleys everywhere instead. Lastly, if you go to bed early, good luck on Friday. The Twin Fin next door blasts live music so loud that it will shake your windows and you won’t be able to sleep.

The location is super convenient—just a short walk from the beach and easily accessible from many places. I loved how I could simply walk half a block back to the hotel and take a shower after spending time at the beach. The amenities are great for both kids and adults, including beach toys, floaties, chairs, and mats. The only thing missing was a beach umbrella—if they had that, it would’ve been perfect! I’d definitely book with them again if that’s added. Most of the staff were friendly, though a few were quiet and didn’t really greet guests. One downside is that the rooms don’t have balcony like some other nearby hotels. Still, overall, it was a really enjoyable stay.

The property is well managed and very clean. Great location for all dining and shopping and beach. Only downside of the place is the walls are a bit thin, but that is not their fault. Definitely a good place to stay.

Nice Hotel with Great Location

Overall, the hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only con was a towel was stained (brown, should have been disposed of) and shower was difficult to adjust temperature.

I really enjoyed staying here. This hotel has excellent beach access and even provides towels and beach chairs at not additional cost. The staff are pleasant and hospitable. I was traveling solo and the space was perfect.

The hotel was fine. Upon arrival, there was some confusion about the payment and reservation since we booked through Expedia. Also was disappointed to find out there was no parking available for the duration of our stay so we had to find street parking or pay for a parking garage down the street. We also had multiple times where our room key card stopped working so we had to go down to the front desk to have them fix it which was a little annoying. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet and worked for what we needed. The location is across the street from the beach and lots of restaurants and shopping close by.

Rooms are modern and nice. trolley runs right outside of hotel so those who need cheap transportation around waikiki is very do -able. overall staff and amenities were outstanding and would definitely recommend staying here for a good price!
