Others said this hotel was dated but we didn’t think so. We got a partial ocean view but it felt like a full ocean view. Loved how close this was to everywhere you want to be. All the staff were amazing. We got the breakfast included and it was nice and convenient with great views. They have a filtered water machine on the 3rd floor which was good as the water next to the ice machine made our stomachs hurt. Overall though, 10/10

The Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa in Waikiki was absolutely incredible.. they have restaurants on the property and plenty more on the strip along with shopping. Maile assisted us with check-in and also assisted with our speedy checkout!

It was extremely nosy, couldn’t get any sleep over voices heard constantly. We also felt unsafe as our door wouldn’t latch. We would return to an open door often.

For the most part it’s location, right across the street from Waikiki beach. It’s walkable to stores and restaurants on Kalakaua avenue. And the cherry on top it’s beach front views room on the high level floors.

This property is definitely showing its age. Even with a fresh coat of paint in the rooms and some new nightstands, the cracks in the walls, the splitting wood of the desk, the stains on the walls were glaring. Housekeeping was mostly pleasant. Check in was efficient. The dining staff at both the over priced buffet and the pool grill were not engaging or even courteous. No greeting, no thank you, no real acknowledgment unless it was what you wanted to drink. At the breakfast buffet my server seemed annoyed I was there. After plopping down some coffee she brought me my bill before I had finished half of my first plate. The only real interaction was her telling me to stand the check book upright when I put my form of payment in. I went to go get an omelette from the custom station and the cook wouldn’t even look at me. When I returned back to my table all of my things were gone and a family was sitting in my spot. I approached the host who was talking with my server, and said “it looks like you re-sat my table while I was getting an omelette.” The server didn’t say anything to me, but gestured for me to follow her and proceeded to sit me at a worse table and never apologized or said it was an accident or anything. She silently got me a new coffee and, again, brought a check out in the middle of me eating. By the way, the buffet rests solely on the fact that it’s conveniently in the hotel with a great view for some tables and the options are very limited. Don’t recommend.

Perfect location for the beach. Great customer service. Great central spot to get anywhere. Rooms are very spacious. Would book again without hesitation.

We stayed here for a few days an enjoyed it. However, when we left, the woman at the desk said our card would be charged for $450 and when we asked what for, she got rude. We didn’t feel that it was rude of us to ask what the charges were. The receptionist, Joanna, definitely made us not feel welcome/appreciated. Once we headed out, Joanna was behind us gossiping as we could hear her loud and clear. Thanks for the kindness. Maholo!!

The pool was less than desirable - small and overcrowded. Beach access was good but very crowded. Our view was supposed to be oceanfront but was partial ocean view. This area is fun but the lack of a nice pool area was significant.

Loved the room, the facilities, the hot tub, the pool, the restaurants, the location. Also the cherry on top was the lady at the front desk, Grace. Grace helped us with all our questions, and when we had to check out last minute, it was a smooth easy check out. She was just kind, funny and gracious. If you get lucky enough to meet her, you will see what I mean.
