Perfect without events

The place is generally good. Very clean, and the rooms are spacious. The bed is comfortable, but the pillows could be improved in terms of comfort. Although the rooms are fairly soundproof, I can confirm that the hotel hosts events that may disturb you. During my stay, there were wedding celebrations, and the reception area is close to several rooms—I had to wait until 12:30 a.m. before the loud music stopped and I could sleep. The breakfast buffet is good, but it could be more varied.

This place isn't what it claims to be....

Overall we were very disappointed with our stay at Florya. Our room was never prepared until very late each day. The breakfast that was provided had only the most modest items. The hotel was extremely noisy -- there was a park adjacent to the hotel and there was music that was constantly coming from the park day and night. The pool did not appear clean -- there were birds and stray cats going into the water as well as eating leftovers guests left behind. There was no shop for incidental items at the hotel -- or I should say it was closed -- it was out of business. The spa was empty -- no one there, so it was unpleasant, as was the gym. Unless you had a room directly facing the water, the decks were worthless. We thought there was room for significant improvement and overall we were extremely disappointed with our stay. There was no nightlife of any type. The restaurant for dinner was subpar. We felt misled by the advertisement.
