I’ve stayed here several times and have always received great service. During my most recent stay over Christmas, a winter storm was expected. After driving 10 hours to get there, we were concerned about getting stuck since we needed to be back for work. The staff was very understanding and allowed us to shorten our stay by one day, refunding the final night. They were kind, accommodating, and easy to work with during a stressful situation. The room was also clean and comfortable. I really appreciated how they handled everything and would definitely stay here again.

We visit this area every year around Chriistmas. The room is large .The hotel is convenient to our destinations. The staff is helpful and pleasent. The breakfast is better than other places in the area. We tried to book here last year but it was sold out.We booked earlier this year to get this hotel.The property is well kept. We love the goose pond. Also the room smells really good. Last year at a nearby hotel the scent was too strong for my tastes. Hope to see you next Christmas

Hotel lost power 15 minutes after we checked in. Forced to stay two nights with friends an hour away. Problem was we could never find out, except by going in person to the hotel, when power would be restored. Front desk phones were out, Homewood customer service AI sent us to front desk, etc. Other than not paying for the two nights we were not in the hotel, we were not offered any kind of compensation. At no point did hotel offer to rebook us elsewhere.

There were used towels hanging from the bathroom door, and there was no body wash in the container in the shower. Then, this morning, the smoke detector went off, and it smelled like something was burning in the room. I alerted the front desk and they said it was just the heater. I don’t feel like they did anything at all to accommodate me or ease my frustration and worry. Overall, not a good experience.
