Meh… The idea is great. However, quite a few cons for me with this property. Super awkward layout: all windows / sitting patio areas are facing the parking lot vs nice views all around. What a waste… The room inside, has only one bedside table: would make sense for the two bed layout, but not for the single bed: one of us didn’t have a spot to put the water or the phone on. No closet space. Not just awkward but dangerous, coz a taller person that doesn’t pay attention can crack his/her head on the shelf with the hanger rod in the corner. Bathroom… YIKES! It was clean, however, during the low season, they need to run the water in the sink and tub at least on weekly basis, so the traps don’t reek to high heaven. Definitely will opt for a hotel. Plenty of good options in Kanab.

Staff was very courteous. The rooms were NOT spotless. In one room there was hair everywhere and a foreign object that looked like a dried up turkey neck was found. The toilet seat was really loose and hardly any toilet paper. In another cabin, there was NO hot water, hair in thr bathroom area. The floor had give in it in the bathroom. Must've been water damage. The staff was great and the cabins were cute.

Nice guy that checked us in. I liked that we all had cabins together and it was great being able to get to our trucks and trailers right outside of our door. As far as the condition of the cabins, well, they were not very clean, the towels were very worn as well as the furniture. It wasn’t as clean as the reviews lead me to believe. I wouldn’t stay there again. To end with a positive, it was cheap.

If you are headed out to hiking in the area, this is a great place to rest your head. Easy parking, comfortable and quiet. The only thing is the housekeeping needs to do a little better job. I would give it 5 stars but the microwave was dirty.
