Service was quick and reliable. Room was not as clean as it should have been and breakfast was not good. We found a previously owned Wendy’s sandwich in a drawer. The comforters had a few stains on them. Breakfast was not good; the pancake mix tasted expired and the biscuits were rock solid.

Good:The place was largely clean and nicely decorated. It felt like a safe area and I felt safe while I was there. Bad: There was limited selection at breakfast. Cold sausage, very dry biscuits, 3 cereals, waffles, toast, muffins, hostess donuts. No yogurt or scrambled eggs. The advertisement said there was a pool and hot tub. Nowhere did it say you couldn't bring others to swim. (I wanted to bring my 2 adult daughters and there was no one else in the pool.) When we asked for pool towels, the staff pretended not to understand, despite multiple attempts. Once we got upstairs, he then called the room to tell us there are no outside guests allowed in the pool. There was trash behind the refrigerator, along with a refrigerator rack, and dust and trash under the edge of the bed. There was a shop vac parked in the breakfast area.

The room was clean, the only downside was that it had little light. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast should be more varied, although it wasn’t bad. The hotel is in an excellent location — I loved how peaceful it was, and most places were easily accessible from the hotel. If I ever return to that area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
