My husband and I loved our stay at Genggong! We booked for 4 nights and extended it for further 4. There are so many things to rave about. Our room was on the second floor and the view of the ocean was incredible!!! The morning light and evening sunsets were breathtaking. We loved sitting on our balcony watching the fishermen and their activities, so entertaining. The very generous breakfasts were delicious with a wide choice. And the staff!!! They all are a sheer delight with the most beautiful smiles. We highly recommend going snorkelling with one of the fishermen. We went with Alex and he was wonderful but I’m sure the others would be great too. Alex took us to Blue Lagoon and Virgin beach. Great restaurants including the one at Genggong. We also loved Vincents, Warung Le Putu and the cutest Warung that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. At the entrance to the hotel turn right down the village road and it’s about a 5 minute walk on the left. It’s a corner store where the locals eat. We’d love to go back. Thank you Genggong for our wonderful experiences and memories.

Peaceful Paradise

After arriving late, I grabbed a small bite at the restaurant. I felt nourished and safe. I woke in the morning to an epic view and continued to be wonderfully surprised at the location, the people, and the care. I would definitely come back again.

I liked everything, nice room, nice bathrooms, beautiful balcony with fantastic view, i thought i was in Hawaii! Excellent service, delicious food, kind people. Comfortable bed I would appreciate hand towels. What i didnt like? The trash on a beautiful beach, crystal clear water, warm no reason tp get out, then you see plastics bags floatnh around you. Endless plastic and all sort of trash, unbelievable. Locaals need to be educated. They have no idea what they have, it's so beautiful, should treasure evrry inch! I dont think the resort is responsible for the trash. A local told me the school children come on the werkrnd to clean up the beach! Obviously this is not working.

Beautiful ocean front view, quiet hotel with an excellent staff. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable, plenty pillows which was appreciated. There is an on sight restaurant but there are other options in walking distance. Breakfast was included and was very good except for the thin pancakes, opt for the fluffy ones. Vincent's restaurant is excellent and they will pick you up on request. Lots to do in the area, temples, virgin beach, blue lagoon, etc. the hotel can arrange a driver if you don’t have transportation.

Lovely boutique hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel with lovely gardens and pool. Our room on the 3rd floor had the most amazing views. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the staff kind and friendly. Candidasa is much quieter and relaxing than other areas in Bali. The only negative was the beach in front of the hotel is very small and diffucult to walk along, it is not possible to walk along the beach to other restaurants.

This is a lovely, small hotel perched over the beach lined with fishermen’s boats coming and going. Pool area and lawn great. Very serene place, we stayed a week. We chose to enjoy all our meals in the restaurant on premise. Food was very good, Indonesian and western, very fresh and prepared well. Lovely staff; attentive and warm; very clean and well kept. Our room on the floor had a fantastic, wide ocean view! We loved our stay! Thank you Hotel Genggong for a wonderful stay!

Lovely lawn right upto the beach..great location opposite the offshore islets which are great for fishing and diving with boats for hire on the beach...phenomenal sunsets, large well furnished room with terrace & a huge comfortable xxxl sized double bed massive glass frontage overlooking the lawn and sea. The hotel is in a quiet peaceful location away from the traffic of the main drag but close enough to access the bars and restaurants. The hotel arranged scooter hire for 4.days at 70,000 Rp/day about £3.50. I recommend this to explore the lush jungly countryside, nearby temples, and black volcanic sand beach near bug bug.

Hotel Genggong was our first stay in Bali. It was the perfect place to relax and also go out sightseeing from. We stayed in a Royal Room and had the most beautiful view of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows. The staff were so kind and helpful! Every one of them was exceptional! We loved our time in Candidasa as the area is not too busy, and we especially loved our time at Hotel Genggong. We miss the views already!

Very nice place right on the ocean. Staff is fantastic. They had an onsite restaurant that we had breakfast(included) and in most cases we had lunch and dinner there. Not a lot of additional businesses near here so you need to get a grab
