I've stayed at this location previously and due to its proximity to the convention center and general vibe, was excited to stay again. However, upon arrival we were told that they've changed to a valet only parking arrangement, and that they charge an additional $100 for the required service. Additionally, the hotel is generally nice, but the staff could use some re-education on dealing with guests. Not being from the area, we asked about recommendations to eat nearby and got a shrug and don't know from the front desk. Again, nice place and convenient to the convention center, but as there are other options w/in the area, might investigate them next time.

Very good.

Everyone was super helpful and nice. The valets took extra care of my vehicle. They were helpful in giving info about the area. The front desk people were genuinely friendly. The only downside was one of the lamps on the right side of the bed didn’t work. I normally sleep on that side. Bed was large. It was comfortable. I had a great view of Neyland Stadium and the campus. I’d stay here again. Wish they had soda and snack machines. The gift shop had coke products only.

The property is great and the staff and very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and it was a short walk to the convention center. The only thing I did not like and didn’t realize before hand is the parking at the property is valet only, which was an extra $35 a day.
