Tranquil, relaxing stay with nature and views

My favourite stay ever! If you like somewhere quiet, with some tranquility, relaxation and nature, this is perfect. The view of Mt Fuji with the kotatsu under the night sky made this so memorable. However, keep in mind that the location is remote, so is more ideal as a stay within the properties. You can get a taxi in and out, but can be a bit of a hassle.

A special thank you to the individual who delivered my cheese and fruit platters and wine on February 10, 2025. The genuine kindness, warmth and care in her service made it feel like more than just a meal—it was a gesture of hospitality that spoke volumes. That same evening, I had the pleasure of sitting and speaking with her during the movie screening. That simple act of connection, of shared conversation and kindness, was a highlight of my stay. It is very beautiful place snd it would be 100% relaxing if there will be more flexibility with booking restaurants and other activities. We stayed three nights and were unable to go to restaurant of our choice. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and helpful, view of Mt. Fuji from balcony was wonderful when weather was right.

Location of hotel is excellent for full view of Mt Fuji. However, it may be tricky to locate if you are taking public transport. Staff are friendly and service is excellent. Not for travellers who are in a rush. Take time to enjoy the peace, tranquil and refresh oneself.
