Everything at the hotel was perfect with the exception of the Check In at our arrival:
While everything during our stay was perfect, the check-in process was unfortunately not up to par. Upon our arrival, the front desk employee was rude and seemed to make me feel guilty for arriving late. Our flight had been delayed, and due to lack of phone reception on the airplane, we were unable to communicate with the hotel.
We had to wait over 25 minutes in the lobby while he was busy preparing and printing a report, despite there being no other guests waiting. It felt as though we were being punished for our late arrival. The only reason we were finally checked in was that I took the initiative to approach the counter and inquire about our situation, at which point he casually mentioned, “Oh, my report just finished.”
Having visited and worked at various Hilton locations both nationwide and internationally, I have always considered Hilton to prioritize customer service. Sadly, this particular evening, it seemed as if that was not the case.
