We always stay here when we come to Lexington. This time, was very disappointing. The new bathrooms looked very nice, but, we had no water presssure and the water was luke warm our entire 4 day stay. It was also a rough check in. We were checked into the wrong room, and had to go back downstairs to get a new room and keys. Sorry to say, that we wont be staying again. Very disappointing.

We loved the atmosphere and all around vibe of the hotel. All of the employees were so helpful and kind! It was a wonderful and much needed retreat for the night. We will definitely be going back

The property had an overwhelming sewage stench and the heater was extremely loud. We were told they had called in a plumber, but for our stay it was disgusting and almost too difficult to continue through the night with the sewage smell.

I had a horrible experience at Doubletree Suites by Hilton. Google showed it as having in-room jacuzzi tubs. They did not. The a/c unit was halfway out of the wall, the tub didn’t hold water and the toilet was not flushing properly and ran all night. The front desk just shrugged their shoulders and told me I should have called maintenance. I wasn’t settled in the room - because they refused any refund until after 12:30 am. I was exhausted and as a woman traveling alone, I certainly wasn’t going to invite maintenance in. The room should have been checked and readied before I checked in.

Dog feces smell on our floor. The staff didn't seem to care about much of anything. I ask for a wake up call and we didn't get it. We stayed 2 nights and there was a Gatorade bottle by the elevator when we arrived and still there 2 days later.

No whirlpool tub

Advertised was their iconic whirlpool jet tubs. Find out after reserving, paying, and arriving that there are NO TUBS like this. The picture on hotels.com clearly shows the tub and the description in the title. Not good. Also, the furnace in this room was so loud, literally everytime it kicked on and off, it woke my wife and I straight up.

We did not get the amenities that we paid at the time of booking.The heat in our room did not work and after having maintenance try to repair we had to move to another room. The room we booked was supposed to have a whitlpool tub and the desk clerk, Cheryl lied to us and said the hotel no longer had bathtubs. She later told us that there was one room with a depp soaking tub but never offered to move us to that room. Our reservation said we had free parking but when we checked in we were told we would be charged for parking. The clerk told us that she would talk to manager to get us a partial refund being we did not get the room we paid for. I will not stay at another Hilton owed hotel ever again. The hotel was originally a French Quarter themed hotel, very nice but now it has been remodeled minimalist-style, with cheap furnishings and ugly decor. We were long time Double Tree guests numerous times and to go again this year for our 24th anniversary, we will never go back to this hotel, nor recommend to anyone to ever stay there.
