I was in Room 624 a Large Studio with a balcony … The room was extremely nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great and highly appreciated considering this amenity is becoming harder to find. Walking distance to the pier, shopping and dining. I’m glad I didn’t let the reviews regarding the heavy homeless presence deter me from staying here because honestly as I explored the LA area over the weekend I realized the homelessness crisis comes with the LA … It’ll be everywhere you turn … The valet is a little high but very convenient … I’ll definitely be staying here again

Location was excellent although when comparing to past visits, it seemed more run down in the outside, surrounding areas. Hotel prices seem to be higher everywhere, however, it still seemed a bit more expensive than expected.

Overall I was very comfortable. The lack if bell services was hard for me as I am an older person and had several bags. Thankfully a couple of other guests lent a hand. Also there were many homeless folks next to the hotel. They didn’t bither me at all and my heart goes out to them. It just mase me anxious to walk my dog there.

I liked how close and walkable the property was to the shopping center plus the pier and many other stores to explore. There was the train as well.

2 mins walk from the pier. Close to stores (Target and Trader Joe’s), and restaurants. Some people without homes, but I found them minding their own business and harmless. Overall if you are looking to stay close to the pier and amenities then is is a good place to stay.

Staff did not follow thru on requests (e.g., needed an extra pillow but it was never delivered, not enough towels (4 people but only 3 towels), no late checkout, homeless people around the property, human feces on the sidewalk which we just weren’t expecting.
