Staff seemed bothered to help and not friendly. No coffee maker in room, no shelf or platform for toiletries in the bathroom. Ice maker is on the first floor. Loud and noisy even from the fifth floor.

The room was very small. No sitting room. Just a bed and a bathroom. No coffee maker, no free breakfast, nothing extra just a place to sleep at a very high price. Would never stay there again

Beautiful, historic hotel. Clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge, however. Valet is $50 tip! Honestly, that took the fun away from our stay. The Swann restaurant in the basement was nice but overpriced with mid-level service. I had the mahi and for $40 expected a more exciting dish. I had to go find my waiter for salt. Wine choices were very good. Positives and negatives of the stay but overall, I’d recommend.

Great hotel, excellent location. Only complaint is that our room was extremely cold at night even though heat was set on 80 (I think the large window was not very insulated and it was below 20 at night)- was not a problem when the weather warmed our last night there. The hotel did provide a space heater which was very convenient. Nice little bar downstairs and a cute pastry place right next door.

We were coming to Louisville to see a track meet on the west side and to see a show at the venue next door. The Grady was super convenient. The restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. We have been to this area before, but didn’t venture out much this time. The weather was sloppy slush and cold. The room was nice with high ceilings, but that made it take a while to warm up with as cold as it was (in the teens Fahrenheit ). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and had everything we required. The staff were all friendly and attentive. We have never been to a hotel with robes and bell hop service. It was a pleasant surprise for sure. My only negative would be I think valet parking for hotel guests should be discounted. $180 for 3 nights was a bit steep in our opinion.

Overall great stay. Swanky, historical, cozy, stylish. Walkable location for all things bourbon and arts in downtown Louisville. Super friendly staff who shared history of the building. The only cons- no good option for self park, and valet quite expensive. Lots of street noise so bring your ear plugs if you need them.

Stylish stay, but freezing night!

We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a decent experience. The property was clean, updated, and we really loved the decor…it felt modern and welcoming. However, there was one issue that made our stay less comfortable. Our room was incredibly cold. Despite turning the heater up to 78°, it still felt freezing, even though the thermostat claimed it was 76°. We later found out that our neighbors on the 2nd floor had to request a portable heater from the front desk because their room was also too cold. It seems like the heating system could use some attention. Aside from this issue, we had a nice stay. The cleanliness and design of the hotel were definite positives, but addressing the heating problem would really improve the guest experience.
