We arrived tired and couldnt wait to relax. We checked in and had a little trouble finding the room. Walking down the pathway to the room it was full of black mold and smelled like it. I wasnt expecting the Ritz but at 140.00 a night you would think the place would at least be clean. There was a table and chairs on a small platform outside the room that looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a couple of yrs. The floor in the bedroom was dirty and the pillowcases had stains of rust on them. We took a walk to the pool area and around the inside was green mold. At this point we decided this was not a place to spend 2 nights. We went back to the office and told Skyler we wanted our money back and that we took pics of the area and room. She called the manager who ended up being the owners daughter who was very rude and told us she would only refund 1 night and if we wanted another room it would be $239.00. We both laughed and said no thanks, keep it. Sad that we booked this through Expedia. I will be calling them to report our incident. You would be wise to travel a bit further down the road for $22.00 more you can stay in a clean, free breakfast, Fairfield Inn and Suites. Lastly the owners should be ashamed of themselves that they dont know what a little bleach might do. I do have pics but theres no place to upload.

Great hotel right on the seafront. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and very clean. Breakfasts are good, which is a big plus. During our stay it was seaweed season, and the smell was quite strong, but it wasn’t a major problem.

Great Old Florida Charm!

Cute old Florida motel right on the water with it's own private beach. The room was very clean and updated, the grounds are very tropical and well maintained, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the late check in process is very efficient. We will definitely stay here again.

Rainbow Bend was a nice gem for us for my birthday weekend! We really lived the scenic area and the tropical feel of the property. We rented a suite and it was very spacious. Although, could have been cleaner. We found dust on the walls & wall AC, and some mold & hair in the bathroom. The staff was nice and the breakfast included was also good. It is an updated place, although still needs keeping up.
