We arrived on 15/04/25 we asked for a room change as balcony was so dirty and overlooked the carpark, reception said they would check availability and get back to us we stayed 4 nights and we didnt get any call back. The breakfast is very average undercooked bacon and a coffee machine that gives you froth.

Was an absolutely marvellous stay! From the comfiest bed we’ve slept in in ages, through through the thoughtful staff and incredible view from our balcony. That, combine with so many dining options so close and Chinatown right there, you can’t really go wrong!

An amazing hotel right in the middle of everything we wanted to see! Close to tram stops. Very clean and modern room with everything we needed. Awesome city views from our balcony, lounge and bedroom! Loved the super comfortable bed and pillows! Staff were wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. We will be back! 10/10!

I liked the location, the room and the hotel facilities. The staff were lovely. I did enjoy having a microwave in my room as I wake up at about 4.30am, and so I could make my own breakfast. As and it is impossible to get breakfast at this hour. The pool was great, but no towels left at 6.30am which was surprising. My clock radio was broken, reported but not replaced during my stay. I did have to ask to have my bins emptied. However, overall I did like the hotel and will book again in the near future.

We have stayed multiple times at Mantra on Russell. It’s conveniently located to so many restaurants, Chinatown and shopping. Although it says “daily housekeeping” in the services provided, this was not included. But we were able to request fresh towels each day which more than made up for that. We will definitely continue to stay here again during our visits to Melbourne in the future. Keep this wonderful hotel going!

Great location, especially for enjoying China town. Everything at your doorstep and within walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool although it was a bit cold to swim in however the spa was great. Nice breakfast, not huge options but enough to fill you up.

Old outdated had an issue with our room. They gave us an hr to move rooms delaying our plans for the day. Breakfast was horrible. Tradesmen working from 8:30am drilling and repairing. Terrible experience all round.
