Customer service was terrible. The general manager was rude. They stated because I booked through Expedia I would be charged 30 extra dollars if I want to check in a little bit early. The room was clean but they said it's still a cost $30 more to check in about 2:30. They also ripped on Expedia saying that Expedia nickels and dimes them to death. They are the ones that put their hotel on Expedia. The place was dirty old and disgusting. I also had the back of my pickup truck gone through and two cushions stolen. Do not stay at this hotel!!

There was no one at the front desk and no signage or direction on how to summon the worker. This was 6pm on a Friday. Finally after snooping around we found a phone that said to call “0” for the front desk so we did and finally the attendant appeared. As we were leaving for dinner another guest was trying to check in and having the same issue so we shared with him how we got assistance. I understand that there is other work to be done at a hotel but maybe have the front desk representative at the desk or in an area where they can hear or see people approaching the desk.

This was a nice hotel in a decent area close to the Mall of America and also close enough to go into Ellsworth Wisconsin for some cheese without it being a far drive from either.
