My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at Excellence Oyster Bay and have nothing but AMAZING things to say. The beach was beautiful - quiet, secluded, and kept so clean. The food was great, especially loved The Lobster House and Spice (specifically the Hibachi). Most importantly, the staff was INCREDIBLE. So personable and genuinely kind people. The entertainment team - specifically Martin, Tomayo, Jordanique, Rick, and Pauline - always had us laughing throughout the day and are pretty convincing when it came to participating in the activities throughout the day. Our very first dinner (and our very last) was at the Lobster House with Dave. He was attentive and offered exceptional service. Ricardo and De'andre were also great! Sherica at the front desk was amazing. Organized and charismatic. The perfect person to have as soon as you walk into the resort. Kefirya was the perfect host. Welcoming, kind, and checked in on us throughout our meal. Last but not least - the bartenders. Outstanding people that kept both our drinks (and hearts) full throughout our stay. Junior, Kishnoy, Rivarrio, Alex, and Jose-Anne. So fun to talk to and so great at their jobs. We have never had a better experience at an all-inclusive resort than at Excellence. They made our honeymoon so special and we are truly thankful! We are hoping to come back one day.

The resort was very well kept and clean! The staff was amazing, always making us feel welcome. We specifically appreciated the activities staff, they truly made our stay amazing! We had a great time with them. Room service was timely with great convenient food! The room provided many amenities that we enjoyed. The resort was very quiet and peaceful during our time there. This was the best honeymoon we could have asked for. The resort is stunning and well-maintained. We had a beach house room, which gave us direct access to the beach, a plunge pool, lounge furniture, and a cabana right on the sand. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beach itself was so nice - water was clean and warm! The main pool and infinity pool were immaculate. Our Excellence Club room came with a hydrotherapy session and our guide, Tishaun, was wonderful. We had no idea what to expect, but we loved every second of it! Every meal that we had was delicious, and we always walked away happy and full! All these things are amazing and great, but it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as wonderful as it was without the staff. From the second we arrived until the moment we left, each person we interacted with made us feel like family. A few people who I absolutely have to thank for making this a dream trip: Sharica at check-in, Giovanne, Ian at the pool, Letishia and Jose-Anne at the martini bar, Ojeuecko who spoiled us rotten with coconut mojitos and blackjacks, our pool ladies - Latifa, Hyana, and Keisha who made sure we always had a drink and always stopped to talk with us, Carlene - hibachi chef extraordinaire at Spice, and hostesses P erecia and Makeda, who always greeted us with smiles. An extra gigantic thank you to the entertainment staff, especially Pauline, Martin, Degrick, Tomayo, and Jordanique for keeping us dancing, singing, and smiling every day!

The food was not good. I tried most of the restaurants and did not have a great experience. Plus the service was slow as well. There was a lot of stale bread items. The rooms were nice but housekeeping did not arrive until close to 5pm or shortly thereafter. Landscaping began in the morning hours and continued into the night. I did not see a lot of overall organization with the staff. A spilled cup of soda or some drink from the night before remained in the pool area until the next afternoon. There was an outdoor umbrella that got blown over by the wind. It went down into the pool area among other guests. There was an employee standing near that did nothing to retrieve the umbrella. Another staff walked by and did nothing while other guests retrieved the umbrella. It took a third staff member to retrieve the umbrella. No one asked if the guests were hurt or injured. I am not sure if there were excursions available or kayak or boat rentals. It was not offered. I don’t think that I would recommend.

Very disappointed in the Club Level amenities as that is why we book the Club Level again. Our first stay in 2017 was lovely. However, this time, our favorite restaurant, Magna, was closed the duration of our stay without notice. Nowhere on the website or booking was that mentioned. It was our favorite spot for breakfast and views. Instead, we had to walk a half a mile to Zenith to have breakfast. Very disappointing as we do not like the buffet. In addition, the golf carts were available to us last time for transportation to and from the restaurants and any time we please as club level guests. However, this time, even though it was pouring rain, they told us no I’m sorry, management has made a decision to not allow golf carts to be used for transportation for club level guests while on property-only for arrival and departures. This was unacceptable to me! This is a Jamaican resort being run by a Mexican company. Things need to change or we will not return.

We didn’t make it due to hurricane Melissa.. AA canceled their flights.. Montego Bay Airport was shutdown.. there’s no way for us to get to the Resort.. !!! and Excellence Oyster Bay Adults Only resort would not give us our refund and did not even reconsidering honoring our stay at a later time (within a year)..!! I mean.. it’s Mother Nature that’s causing this catastrophic..Category 5 Storm..Kingston Jamaica was in state of EMERGENCY..!! That should be more than enough reasons to honor our cancellations..

The was and is best resort that weve stayed at. They definitely raised the bar with customer service, food and over all attentiveness to their guest. The amount of effort and services they have provided since Hurricane Melissa had been top notch.

The front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved the top tier service we received from the minute we arrived at the resort until the time we check out. The resort was very intimate and a private. If you’re looking for an All Inclusive, Adults only resort, definitely consider this resort. We were extremely please with our stay!
