Great Hotel!

First time to Monterey and it was amazing! The Sea Breeze is a great hotel. My daughter and I stayes for 4 nights. The bed was a little on the hard side but all in all the room was really nice.

The property itself was nice - I liked the fire pit! Our room was clean, although there was a strong bleach odor. On-site check-in staff was friendly but the inn’s management’s practice of threatening to cancel a reservation with a refund if the customer doesn’t notify them of an arrival time that precedes 9pm felt a bit heavy handed and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ants not only in the kitchenette but also in the shower. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. Decor was not there couchamd chair in living room was low and old. Curtain also in living room was to long and the valance did not the curtain. The vent in the bathroom was nonexistent and toilet had no pressure so had to push on handle multiple times to flush entirely. Parking is horrendous

It was clean and the staff was helpful. We stayed in a cottage with our dog. When a towel rack fell off the wall, they were prompt to fix it, replace the towels and clean the cottage. It was quiet with a location that's a short drive to the ocean and downtown.
