Sanjay at the bar was the star. Huge personality and knew how to make cocktails enjoyed by Americans, which is rare in Europe. He was spot on about restaurant recommendations and things to do and see in Vienna. The front desk people were always patient and helpful. Kaiser

Good area, not great communication with front desk

The hotel probably is lovely but here is what we did not like, outlets for chargers by the door and one found under a desk but had to unplug the light to to use the outlet. Also, we were arriving at midnight as a flight delay and the front desk was continuously busy and then told to email. Finally was emailed the next day. Really for the price of this hotel we expected better communication. It is a very good area but 110 Euros each way from airport. This was a problem for our quick stay.

Great hotel near the Marienplatz, great Schneider Weiss Brewery, and Hofbrauhaus. Easy open to traffic route and dropoff area for Driver in front of hotel although nearby areas are restricted.

This property is right in the historic center of Munich, within 10 minutes walk to most of the sites! It is right next to Hofbrauhaus, for reference. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a beautiful and newly renovated suite, which was just lovely. Breakfast was included, a nice buffet spread. The beds were super comfortable and there was a pillow menu to choose from! The shower had amazing water pressure. There is a fancy restaurant and pub on site, as well as a coffee shop/bar. All in all, a perfect place to spend a few days in Munich!

The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent, quaint area with great restaurants and shops nearby. Walkable to every thing we wanted to see - park, gardens, market, shopping, and so many great dining options. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely choose again!

Stayed 4 nights at the Platzl in a dlx dbl room that had a nice sitting area near the windows, which came in handy. Location is great, and staff are very pleasant and helpful too. Room very nice, as is the hotel decor and lobby with a coffee shop too. One interesting and uncommon thing is they give you the 1st mini-bar use as complimentary. Location at Marienplatz and 200ft from the Hofbrau haus cannot be beat. Would highly recommend!

The best hotel, in the best location in Munich. Friendly and accommodating staff, that also recognised it was a special birthday celebration and left a lovely cake, chocolates and fruit in the room, with a birthday card and voucher for 2 glasses of champagne!

We felt welcome the minute we came into the Hotel. Desk clerk helped get our luggage out of the car and brought it to our room. The hotel is clean and we lived the pool and saunas. We most definitely will come back and stay longer.
