I felt truly bamboozled when we entered this property. The pictures they used for advertising had to be photoshopped or old. There was visible dirt around the floor and floor boards. The room was tiny. The appliances have rust. When we went to use the pull out couch, there was dirty Q-tips. The glass on the door to the balcony was so dirty you could not see through it. I went to the local grocery store and bought Clorox wipes and cleaner because it was so bad and I could not stay there a week like that

The hotel on the outside is extremely run down. Elevators often smelled like throw up or dropped food by guests. The room itself was updated, but definitely not clean. The kitchen was great to have. The view is awesome. The pools were clean. The hot tubs were not clean. This property is definitely overpriced in the busy season.

Peppertree Ocean Club

The rooms were fairly clean and bug free!! Rooms and property are in need of updating however. It was hard to find outlets to charge devices. The phone in the room didn't work. There's definitely some repairs needed with the kitchen however the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The matress was ok comfortable but definitely time to be replaced. Theres no alarm clock or any clocks in the room. The elevator was scetchy as sometimes the doors would close but never move. The exterior of the building needs to be power-washed and re-painted and windows need to be updated. We had an ocean view but due to condensation inside the windowpains so it obscured our view. Very easy on-property access to the beach and the shower and hose stations were perfect when you came back. There's an on-property bar at the pool that has food as well. Only open until 8pm though. Pools and hottubs were clean and there was plenty of seating with shade umbrellas. Staff were super friendly and very helpful! Free to use pool/beach towels that you can get on the second floor during the day. The sign outside the property currently says Peppertree Ocean Club.

Don't bother paying for late check out

Got a text to check in online with the option to pay extra for late check out. When we got to the property, they said they don't get online info and didn't know anything about late check out. Thought I got that straight until the day we left. Twice someone tried to come in the room without knocking, even though he saw us go into the room. The property is old and in need of repairs. Also, could definitely be cleaner. Our room was on the second floor near the elevator/stairs the gate to the pool and beach was right under our window and made a loud clang every time someone went through (pretty late into the night).

The place was disgusting. Filthy! If a shelf came off the wall it wasn't repaired or replaced. Neither myself or my husband would walk on the bedroom carpet. Gym closed. Pool furniture old and in disrepair. What furniture that was once white is now grey. Way overpriced. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book a room here!

When we arrived we did not receive the room we choose here. We received a handicap room. We were very disappointed. Management showed no real concern; however, informed us to schedule directly with the hotel and not to use third party services for booking. I told them we’ve used Expedia many times before including for this hotel and never had a problem. My family and I will not being stay there again!

The hotel is dated, but that wasn't the issue. The bathroom was nasty with hair in the tub from the previous guest. It was hot in the main bedroom all the time. You couldn't turn the AC lower than 70. The water had to run along time before it got warm/hot. The elevators haven't been sweep - ever. The pool was nice. Sound proofing was good.

Friendly staff and nice amenities like the pools and hot tub. Room is nice size. It’s an older property and it shows. I understand back front property is high maintenance but the humidity inside the rooms is high due to windows that don’t close properly and the repairs are obvious patch works in the room. I’m not mad at it just did not feel super clean. Like it was cleaned but the age and deteriorating state/ age shows. Not the cleaners fault.

The hot tubs were closed, and the property needed a little bit upkeep. Our stay was pleasant, safe, and fun. The location and proximity to be beach was really good. If you book through Expedia, you probably will not get the room you are expecting.
