Excellent choice in Goreme. Warm efficient reception. Beautiful room. Tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Funda was an exceptional host at breakfast. Location is central but prepare yourself for many stairs and slopes.

What a fantastic stay all around. The views are amazing, breakfast was A+, the staff were so accommodating and beyond helpful and friendly. They were always very responsive to any question when we communicated via WhatsApp. We are looking forward to our next trip to cappadosia.

We arrived by night bus in the early morning and were offered breakfast even before check in. Staff also hurry up with the cleaning and our room is ready by 10am well before check in time at 2pm and got upgraded. Wifi speed very good but there are still inherent deficiency of cave hotel such as white debris/dust from the ceiling and shower water is a bit weak and not hot enough. On our last night there was unstable electricity in our room and went all dark for 2 seconds and repeated four or five times.

We stayed for three nights in late October 2025, and this is by far our favorite hotel. The rooms are spotless, the architecture is beautiful, the interior design is stylish, and the customer service is excellent. The food was also wonderful! We really enjoined it very much.

Extremely Disappointed – Serious Dietary Negligence and Broken Promise I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Kelebek Special Cave Hotel & Spa. When ordering breakfast, I specifically requested that no beef be included in my omelette for religious reasons. I made this request very clear to the staff, and when my breakfast was served, I confirmed again that there was no beef in it. To my horror, I discovered meat (beef) inside the omelette. This was completely unacceptable and showed a serious lack of care and respect for guests’ religious and dietary requirements. I immediately complained to the manager, who apologized and took full responsibility for the mistake. As a gesture of goodwill, I was told that the 50% cost of one night’s stay would be refunded and that I should contact Expedia to arrange this. However, despite following their instructions, the refund has now been refused by the hotel. This experience has left me deeply disappointed. Not only was my religious dietary request ignored, but the hotel also failed to honour their own promise of compensation. I would not recommend Kelebek Special Cave Hotel & Spa to anyone who expects professionalism, honesty, or respect for religious beliefs and dietary needs.

Excellent unique boutique cave hotel with excellent views of the balloons. Staff was kind annd helpful and the resident cats are friendly. Food is delicious. Hammam massage is a very unique experience. Highly recommend menemin for breakfast and the lamb rack special for dinner.

My room was beautiful and clean, I was very happy with the hotel. Walking distance into town, Staff was very helpful and kind, the spa service I had was amazing (Turkish bath and massage) Watching the balloons in the morning from the deck was perfect and not crowded at all. A lot of delicious breakfast options. Very happy with my stay I would highly recommend.
