Bed were hard but I know others like it that way.

I appreciated that we were allowed to check in early after a very long trip. Only issues I had were with the very hard bed. I had a hard time resting as it was like concrete to me. I know some people like firm beds but it was so hard to me.

Feels particularly safe and well managed by friendly and helpful staff. Parking is free and convenient. Rooms are not very soundproof and are showing signs of aging e.g no plug for bathroom sink.

Very nice hotel, clean, beautiful atrium, nice pool and hot tub. Nice gift shop, snack shop, and cafeteria. Adjacent parking garage. As a tourist, be aware this hotel is connected to large hospital,so, wheelchairs and scrubs are everywhere, just a little different... Great food places nearby. Bus available on street in front.

Brent House Hotel is inside the Ochsner Hospital building where a family member was hospitalized. Staying at the Brent House meant I could walk to her hospital bed. I felt that the price of the room over the weekend was above average.

Pros: I felt very safe here. Parking garage is walking distance. Very convenient for medical stays as it’s connected to the hospital. Cons: not much place to park for checking in. Has no parking signs right in front of entrance.
