No EXCUSE

Checked in around 10am as everyone was leaving. Being Mardi Gras, it was chaotic… Marvin was excellent at front desk and checked us in swiftly but being there early we had to pay $45 for early check in… rooms are a little outdated but comfortable. Called front desk for extra toilet paper and was never delivered… my friend had to go downstairs and use the lobby bathroom…he went to front desk to inquire about toilet paper and was told they don’t keep any in office but had to call house staff to deliver it…they should keep a box in the office for guest to immediately receive it… EASY to do… second night of our stay was no hot running water in shower around 7pm… same thing on checking out on 3/5/25 Wednesday morning… complained to front desk… couldn’t comp me a night because the MANAGER was there to authorize it as she wasn’t coming in till 9am… we left at 7:30 am to drive back home 12 hours to Charleston SC…the manager was aware of boiler problem in hotel but was AWOL from property… no EXCUSE

Great Price and walking distance to French Quarter

Embassy was absolutely wonderful and in walking distance for Canal, French Quarter and Bourbon St. My family had a wonderful visit and will be back again! The complimentary breakfast and drinks were the icing on the cake.

Thank you so much to the staff! Always going out of their way to help. What sticks out me the most is their ability to correctly guess my next needs. We needed to hold our bags for a few hours, and their response was always NO PROBLEM! Would definitely come back!

No hot shower.

Stayed for a Saturday night before a cruise and the hotel was good except for being awakened at 3am by what I thought was an approaching thunderstorm and when I stepped out on the balcony, I realized it was a loud band playing somewhere in the neighborhood...this continued until 4am. But the real deal breaker for us was no real hot water in the shower...the problem must have been in shower valve, because the sink had HOT water.
