A very safe option located in the heart of the french quarter just a 4 minute walk to Bourbon st. Located on a quiet side street near quaint boutiques and laid back bars, hotel de la poste was a perfect option, we will be utilizing again.

This property is very beautiful! We only had two issues which were room service that never actually showed up (it was just fries) and valet scratched up our rim a bit and then also when checking out the valet gate closed on the car and scratched the driver side quite a bit. They were very professional about the incident.

Valet was wonderful!!! Maid service was non existent. I directly told maid my room # (as I was standing directly outside my door) and asked her to clean my room ( literally 3 minutes after she knocked on my door to clean it & I wasn’t ready because I was using the bathroom). I know she understood me as she spoke English. She then told me yes, she would. I left, came back several hours later and again later, nothing was clean, trash can not emptied. Never saw them again. Daytime Concierge must hate ygeir jobs. Not very friendly. Night time Concierge was really great. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, pictures misleading in website for rooms. Combined better room pictures which is why I picked that room. Shocked and very upset at tge room we received for the amount of money. Pretty hotel and great location.

Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the center of everything. Everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful! Room was a bit crowded but it was nice.

Front desk very rude, not willing to help. At 9:30 pm called to order dinner from the restaurant that they said kitchen was closed. When I booked showed that restaurant opens till 10 pm. Really disappointed at this place.

Hotel was transitioning from The W to Hotel De La Poste. We were informed when we arrived about the transition and the skeleton crew they were working with during that time. The transition to another brand was not the issue, it was that the hotel did not communicate this until the day before arrival and they said nothing of a reduced staff which may impact our stay. We had three rooms booked for 3 nights each. One of the rooms was not cleaned or visited by house keeping even though we asked multiple times during the day. When we returned back that evening to still find the room as we left it at 9:30am we called the front desk and was informed the house keeping crew had left. Upon checkout there were over $1,000 of charges across all three rooms that were never made. The GM was very accommodating and removed all charges, however, why were they there in the first place. Overall the hotel needs a cosmetic refresh, and the staff could use a few hospitality classes. The hotel is in a GREAT location in the French Quarter however, I think I’ll be staying at other bonvoy brands in the future.

The room was very spacious and the hotel overall was very quiet. We felt like we were the only people there. The courtyard area was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable as well and the extras that you could choose to purchase in the room for your convenience. I would definitely stay here again.
