Arlo has a good vibe and decor, but I experienced many issues that will make me think twice about staying there again. The staff member was quite hostile when I checked in. I had to ask several times to get the room cleaned (for some reason the staff would not clean the room). When I left, the person checking me tried to upsell the black car, and lied about the cost of the taxi to the airport. The staff at the bar were incredible, however.

Everything was good, great hotel. Good location. The outer and inner entrance doors didn’t always work and the check-in was a little confusing in terms as they didn’t explain the city charge on my credit card but expected us to already know all the details before they charged my card.

The room and staff were amazing and helpful. Also, if you needed some ideas they provided great info (if you're traveling for the first time) The rooms are extremely tiny though so keep that in mind. However, we were only in there to sleep and shower. So it's what we expected and NY style living. Overview of NYC was fantastic. Would recommend.

Great location. The room was clean, efficient, and nicely decorated. The staff was so friendly and kind. The bar downstairs is outstanding, make sure you stop by for a drink! We will definitely be booking this hotel again.

My group of four rented the two double beds room and that room was absolutely too small. There was no room for any of our stuff. A large suitcase which each of us brought wouldn’t fit under the bed at all. There was no microwave nor coffee pot. I guess that was because they wanted you to pay for that high price coffee in the coffee store. The bathroom was too small as well. The toilet paper was so cheap that you had to use a ton of it just to be able to wipe without your fingers poking through the paper. That “cooler” was just that. It was more like a three drink cooler. To me there was more space provided down stairs on the lobby floor and not enough emphasis on guest rooms. I will not be staying in this hotel ever again and I will advise friends or family that go to New York not to stay in this hotel.
