Wonderful stay at the hotel BelleClaire. They have us a wonderful room in the 1st for. Very quiet and spacious enough for two. Great French bakery in house with good almond croissant and great pesto sandwich with mozzarella. Nice staff and kept our bags on the last day. Check out at noon was convenient. The fitness center was good.

Initially, the staff did not provide us with the room on time, even though we arrived early with a sleeping toddler. Our reservation mentioned a wine bottle, but it was not given to us. We experienced terrible service.

Lovely staff, enjoyed the nice happy hour and the vouchers for the delicious French bakery next door. Fantastic Upper West Side location. Only issue was that the room was quite spartan (no fridge; very basic) and the bathroom grout needed a thorough cleaning and repair. A bit of mold growing, and someone used white caulk to fill in where dark grout should have been installed during a prior repair of the shower stall. I expected a better condition.

Well-run hotel at a great location.

This hotel has its act together. The premises are clean and QUIET, the staff is attentive, professional. Even the elevators responded rapidly. In four days of our stay we never waited for more than several minutes for the elevator doors to open to accept us.

World Class Guest Services

This is an amazing place. It is like a home away from home. Guest service is competitive with the best Asian and European hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I did a lot of traveling!! Mercedes, JV, Ed, Mark, Ann Marie, Benedict et al made it so easy to park my car and get ensconced in one of their beautiful rooms. Incredibly comfortable stay.
