Our beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor.  At the harbor there are great restaurants,  fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats.
Come and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.
We have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round.  We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon.
Please no trailers. Our driveway does not allow for turning around a trailer.
There is a video camera above the garage door that monitors the driveway.
Please stay off the neighbors property and stairs to the beach

What an amazing place! A! This house is truly a dog friendly house. It has gates throughout the backyard to the front so you're a little fur babies can't get out and you can relax and enjoy the scenery. That meant everything. The view of the ocean is front row. The amazing sunset and sunrises that you will see from this property are amazing. The host have everything and anything you will ever need during your stay. The house is so nicely decorated with beach decor. It's so cozy. The beds are comfortable. The place is so clean. The privacy that you receive is amazing. Your car can be parked in the garage which leads directly into the house. Has to be one of our most favorite places to vacation. I wish I could get here more often. The host leaves updated information about the town and the best places to eat, hike and site see. I was absolutely blown away by the care that goes into the visitors having a good stay. A lot of thought goes into this property as well. The backyard pit fires are wonderful. The most relaxing place we have ever stayed. A not only for the care given to the property and the love the host's have for this property but the care they give to their clients.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's as cute as can be and the ocean view is amazing! Close to amazing beaches and the Redwood State and National Parks. We stayed with our dog and it was nice to have the fenced yard. The only negative would be the mattress. It wasn't very comfortable.

The view from this place is incredible! Checking in was super easy and the place was clean. It had all the options for making coffee in the morning. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard . I ran on the road in the morning and it was very safe and quiet. John was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, well stocked property in a beautiful location. Great for kids and pets! Minutes from the harbor and the local grocery store. This is our second stay at this property and it was just as relaxing as the first stay!

Great little dog friendly clean house

Great little spot with all amenities and super clean! Just know second bedroom is quite small. We had two adults in it but made it work though! Had some wonderful fires out back. Dogs loved the space as did we. Good communication with owner. Thanks so much!

Comfortable beach retreat

We stayed during a crazy storm on the coast, but were very cozy in this lovely house. Kitchen was very useful for dining in and we enjoyed board games & movie nights. The view of the stormy ocean was very cool and our little pug loved the fenced in yard.

Frugal tiny choice with a great view

Great view of the ocean. Tiny but fully functional older house. The 2 car garage is great. The owner should spend the to rebuild the inaccessible stairs that used to go down to the beach. The owner should also spend to buy comfortable furniture - the existing couch cushions collapse under the weight of sitting. The 2nd bedroom lower bunk mattress is unusable. Owner was fantastic about communicating every day. He dropped off the garage door opener, and suggested the general area where to get crab at the wharf. I am used to more upscale vacation rentals - I would call this house extremely basic.

This was my favorite beach house ever! The location provides a stunning ocean view and the fenced yard was perfect for our needs traveling with a senior dog. Every detail in the house has been designed for the comfort and ease of guests, and the degree of cleanliness is outstanding. We stayed a couple of weeks before Christmas and were cheered by the cute decorations and lights that our host provided. John was a delightful and responsive host who provided tips on where to eat and what to see. So grateful for how "at home" we felt and can't wait to return!

Early Christmas

We spent the weekend before Christmas at this wonderful little spot by the ocean while celebrating with family in town. It was a wonderful respite from the fanatics of Christmas. The house was clean, the property and views were beautiful. We had everything we needed and our dogs were allowed to come. Would love to visit again!

Beautiful View from Great Fenced Yard

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the yard and views. The house is very clean and comfortable. There isn’t direct access to the beach from the neighborhood. You can walk but the main road from the neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks. If you have a dog with you, we recommend driving the 5 minutes to get there.

Relaxing Retreat

My wife and I really enjoyed spending the week. The view from the backyard of the ocean was spectacular. Aside from the sound of waves, it was very quiet and peaceful. The house is small but quaint and tasteful. We look forward to returning one day.

Great little house on the coast

The house was very clean, bright and comfortable. It had everything we needed and they even left us cookies! The view was beautiful, a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. We wish we had time to enjoy the fire pit. The host was a great communicator and always available to help if we had needed it.

Everything I wanted!

This a beautiful property with and amazing view. Open the windows and hear the waves crashing on the rocks down below. The house was perfectly equipped. Because I travel with my two Aussies this was a perfect choice because of the yard. The yard on the ocean side was fenced in and the yard behind the house was perfect for fetch! The owner was extremely kind and responsive and the housekeeper didn't leave a speck of sand. My week was just outstanding in every way. I highly recommend this charming house.

Great ocean view house.

This house was perfect for our stay. The house is perfectly stocked and very comfortable and clean. Great view and yard and we enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the fire starters and abundance of firewood. This is simply a great spot and our dog loved it too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
